Chapter 258: A day before the ceremony

Bai Yi Yang picked up her siblings alone from Old Zhou's house and they all ride their bike to return home. Bai Yi Fang ride behind Xiao Mo and Bai Yi Ling sat behind Bai Yi Yang. As for TongTong, he enter the basket in front and open her mouth to play with the wind.

"Why are we rushing back? We can just wait for gege." Bai Yi Fang said.

"It's going to rain. Your gege will be back late too. He have rehearsal at school." Bai Yi Yang answer. She went back alone today since both her twin and Zhang Ming Ming is too busy. But it is also a relief to know that there will be someone returning back with Zhang Ming Ming.

"You can leave at 8.00 am and fetch Xiao Ling first then you can head straight to school. Jiejie will have to deliver a speech tomorrow but basically I am more free than your gege." Bai Yi Yang giggle.

"With Jian Yu ge's character, he will surely be serious about it. Jie, you can make a casual speech as a contrast." Bai Yi Ling suggest. This way, they wouldn't overshadow each other because they have different style. It's a win-win situation.

The Music Club and Dance Club is good too, she have seen them practicing. Hearing this, Bai Yi Fang is more serious in choosing an outfit tomorrow, she said that she won't embarrassed the twins.

Once they arrived home, Bai Yi Yang change her clothes into a casual one and head to their vegetable garden. She check the dry mushrooms and decided to put them inside. Then she cut some grass growing around the vegetables garden and then entered the greenhouse too. She look at the growing berries and flowers and feel that they are beautiful so she stay inside there a bit to clean up. There are unwanted grass growing in the greenhouse too so she ended up doing these light work until 5.30 am before returning home.

Bai Yi Yang hum a song as she returned home and changed her dirty clothes before entering the kitchen. She saw the winter melon that they brought back from Old Zhou house and decided to make a winter melon and pork meatballs soup. She took out the pre made meatballs from the freezer and let them rest near the sink. Then she start peeling half of a winter melon before dicing them into a suitable size. Like that, she prepared the other ingredients and start making this dish first.

Bai Yi Ling entered the kitchen and smell the fragrant smell from the winter melon.

"Grandma Zhou plant a very fragrant winter melon." Bai Yi Ling praise as she start rinsing the rice in the sink.

"I know right. Last time your gege brought one from the market and they didn't smell as good as this one." Bai Yi Yang agreed. Since cooking a lot, she also know all kind of good ingredients and their varieties.

"I am thinking of growing some at our vegetable garden, this seedlings is good." She add again. Bai Yi Ling nod to this. Them siblings have no problem with eating vegetables, even the younger one also eat their vegetables obediently. So, vegetables are staple.

"En. If we can't finish it we can just sell them. Ah Rui said that his family will start selling vegetables soon too." Bai Yi Mo who enter the kitchen to drink also insert himself in the conversation.

"So fast." Bai Yi Yang was stunned.

"Just simple things like chives, leek and that kind." Bai Yi Mo answer. Just now, he also saw their eldest uncle's family vegetable farm. Their farm are much bigger than theirs but most or them aren't mature yet. Only some varieties is available for sale now.

"I see. That's good then." Bai Yi Yang nod. Since the Jiang family start producing vegetables too, then they won't have to worry about money anymore. What more, Jiang Rui will be starting school next semester, they will surely need more money when the children enter school. It's good that they have a source of income now.

Bai Yi Yang let her siblings chit chat while she continue to cook. Other than this dish, she also chop thin beef meat and stir fry it with Chinese broccoli. Lastly is Kung Pao shrimp. Since she start making spicy food, her siblings and TongTong also start to love them. Anyway she didn't cook excessively spicy food, just average level of spicy.

Bai Yi Yang plan for tomorrow dinner is to cook a lot of meat dishes. Maybe a baked whole rib racks. She also have some chicken thighs, so it should be delicious to make Roasted Lemon Chicken thigh with potatoes. She guess that Sir Austin would love western dishes.

"What are you doing?" Bai Yi Chen came inside the kitchen while Bai Yi Yang was marinating the meat for tomorrow.

"Oh. You remember that I will be inviting guests over tomorrow right? I wanted to marinate the meat early." Bai Yi Yang answer. Bai Yi Chen nod and took a glass to drink some energy drinks from the fridge.

"Everyone is coming?" Bai Yi Chen ask as he took a seat at the bar counter.

"Yes. They are excited. Ruby is also excited to see you at home." Bai Yi Yang laugh. Rumours from the Theatre Club about how the famous golden boy Bai Yi Chen is giving boy-next-door vibe at home have spread at school. Ruby An naturally wanted to experience this herself.

"Oh. Didn't we see each other often?" Bai Yi Chen laugh too.

Dinner is as usual, the children tell them what they did after returning from Bai Yi Ling's school and even mentioned the matter about Jiang family's vegetable farm. Bai Yi Chen have the same opinion as Bai Yi Yang, he feel relieved that their eldest uncle will finally start producing money.

"I heard they are setting up stall near the bus stop. It's just temporary while waiting for the rest of the vegetables matured. They plan to set up stall at the market in town." Bai Yi Ling add. She heard this story from Grandma Zhou.

"How about transport?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"They should be using their car for now. Grandma Zhou didn't tell me anything about that." Bai Yi Ling shrugged her shoulder.

"Oh." Bai Yi Yang just answer this and they change their topic to others.

In her opinion, setting up stall themselves may be a bit difficult. The profit is bigger but they also have to work at the farm, can they manage it? If they supply other vegetables seller, that will be more convenient. Still, this is the Jiang family matter, she can only thought about it.

That night, Bai Yi Chen is a bit exhausted as he just lie down in the living room with the rest of the siblings as Bai Yi Yang type her draft for tomorrow's speech. She just write down what she is going to tell in her speech tomorrow, the rest, she can just add up stuff here and there. In 30 minutes, she stop typing and print it out.

Bai Yi Yang start her speech with formal address to the respected guests, principal, teachers, parents and lastly all students. She basically know who will be attending tomorrow events since Mr.Ling has stated it to her. Quite a few big names, even their town chief is coming. But Bai Yi Yang also think that her speech is quite boring, so she plan to include some story in her speech too and mention some name. Maybe joke around a bit too. She can ask for Ruby's opinion too. Ruby know how to do think kind of things. So, she also texted Ruby with her draft after that.

'What a coincidence, Senior Li also texted me asking about this.' Ruby An reply. But after that she also start adding suggestions to Bai Yi Yang's speech. Ass this and remove that, Bai Yi Yang speech is finally completed and she can finally sleep at ease.

It's just that before she can go inside her room, she received call from Ah Qi and she pick it up on the kitchen. Bai Yi Chen is tired so he have long went to sleep, Bai Yi Ling and Bai Yi Fang is inside the room too. Only Bai Yi Mo is still playing video games.

"Congratulations. I don't know that I have such an amazing girlfriend." Dongfang Qi Ze who just get off work said. He have a smile on his face as he read Bai Yi Yang text and the speech draft. Bai Yi Yang is heading inside to sleep so they didn't chat long, after a short conversation, they hung up and Bai Yi Yang head inside to sleep. As for Dongfang Qi Ze, he sigh as Bai Yi Yang hung up. He really miss her ah. But they can only meet after more than a week. What a torture.
