Chapter 180: Arrival at Country S

When the girls are tired chatting, they also take a nap. It's just that maybe they drink too much before the board the flights so they have gone to the toilet 3 times along the journey.

"I am so tired, I don't think I can sit anymore." Ruby An complaint as she try to stretch on the small space. Not only her, other passengers is also getting tired, so it's common to hear complaints.

"Bear with it, another 30 minutes or so." Bai Yi Yang said. It is already dark outside. When they arrived, it will be nighttime.

"We are the latest to arrive from our country, we should have pick an earlier flight." Ruby An said again.

"The earliest flight was 5.45 am, it's unreasonable. Be thankful, at least we doesn't have to sit in the flight for 8 hours like City Bei team." Wang Yi Lin said. Sir Austin asked them about it last time but going that early is really unreasonable so they choose the afternoon flight.

City Bei is the farthest away from Country S, followed by City Shang and City Nan. City Zhou is the nearest, the route to Country S is much more straightforward from City Zhou, but it still take more than 5 hours and 30 minutes. It is still very far in general.

"Let's enjoy our free time. When we arrive, we will be very busy." Bai Yi Yang smile.

"Right. Then let's play some games." Ruby An suggest.

So, the girls play games and when they giggles, they always surpass their laugh so that they won't disturb other people. They only stop when the flight attendants announce the arrival in 15 minutes. Sigh of relief can be heard from everyone, including Sir Austin.

When they landed it was already 7.50 pm local time, it is already night time. When they passed through the immigration again, it was less strict when they saw the letter, they even warmly welcomed them to Country S. There are no communication problem since this country is an English speaking country and a huge part of the population also speak Chinese. Their team head to pick their luggage and when they make sure everything is there, they take turns to go to toilet to freshen up.

After that, they head to the money exchange counter to change their money to the local currency, they are also using dollar, it's just that the local type of dollar is different than the dollar that Bai Yi Yang is familiar with, 5,000 yuan was changed into slightly more than 1,000$. The value of money of Country S is quite high.

When the team of 5 head out, they saw a few people with name tags and same t-shirt holding cardboard with country names and also countries flag. They immediately spotted a young lady in spectacles holding their country's flag.

"That's us." Sir Austin said. The five of them come forward and meet the staff. The staff is very enthusiastic as they welcome them in Chinese, her words is understandable but her accent is a bit different, what more, she mixed a lot of English words in her sentences. No problem, she is still very nice and guide them to make registration to the counter outside the airport. They saw some other teams from other countries waiting to register too.

"Your team is quite small." The staff called Maria said.

"Yes, this is our first time participating, so we don't really know how this work." Sir Austin reply.

"No problem, no problem. I can help you go through the process. It's very easy." Maria said with a big smile.

When it was their turn, Maria talk to the registration staff first. They are communicating in English but the way they talk is completely different, they have slang that Bai Yi Yang never heard before and she found it quite interesting.

Their registration is completed and they are escorted to the bus with two other teams, they will go to the hotel together. Each of them were given name tags and their name is written in English together with their county flag. When they arrived at the hotel, they need to register for rooms again. Some young male staff step forward and help with their luggage, Sir Austin and Li Jian Yu stay to the end to make sure that their luggage is handled properly and they didn't leave anything, only after that did they enter the bus too.

"Three teams from your country has arrived early on this evening, we are still waiting for 1 more team from your country." Maria said briefly to them when they are taking the bus ride.

"Which team?" Ruby An ask.

"2 from City Zhou and 1 from City Bei." Maria answer.

"City Bei team have arrived? They must have taken an earlier flight." Ruby An said. They thought that team from City Shang will arrived earlier than City Bei team.

"City Shang team is expected to arrive by 10.00 pm." Maria said. Just like her, the other escorts is also talking with their respective team, it is natural that they will have a lot of questions, someone cheerful and talkative like Maria is just the right people to be an escort.

"When we arrived at the hotel, dinner will be served until 9.30 pm, then briefing will be held at the conference room at 10.00 pm, it is fine to send 1 person since the pamphlet will be distributed during that time. As for the room, your team will be assigned 2 rooms, 1 for this teacher and this male student and one room for the three female students." Maria said.

Along the way, she also talk about other things while Bai Yi Yang already took out her camera and start taking pictures of the surrounding through the bus window. She also took a lot of pictures of her teammates and other contestants in the bus, they are very cooperative, even after the long flights, everyone still have big smiles on their face. It was quite harmonious in the bus and they start chatting with each other while being stuck in the jam for 30 minutes. Actually it wasn't that far, it's just that the traffic is a bit bad.

When they arrived at the hotel, Maria help them through every checkpoints and registration, then she sends them to the dining hall where half of the place is occupied, some is still eating, some have done eating and just sat around.

They are famished, so everything taste delicious. The team of 5 sit at one table, still wearing their school uniforms and travel worn. When they are halfway eat did they look at their surrounding. The dining hall is a bit noisy, there are many people and mixed of languages enter their ears.

"I am half full now, I can finally look around." Ruby An said.

"I never been surrounded with this much foreigners before." Li Jian Yu chuckled.

"I bet this is only half of it, tomorrow we need to present in front of them, it's more nerve wrecking." Ruby An said.

"Don't be nervous. As long as you do what you have practiced, everything will go well." Sir Austin said confidently. Now that they are here at this competition ground, he feels more relaxed. He have full trust on their research.

"The food is good. They even try yo match with our taste." Ruby An said.

"You only said that now?" Wang Yi Lin laugh.

"I was too hungry. Now, all I can think about is to wash up and go to sleep." Ruby An also laugh.

"All of you don't need to go later, I will go to the briefly and take the schedule." Sir Austin said. Li Jian Yu then volunteer to go along, even if he returned to the room, he will be alone.

Li Jian Yu and Sir Austin will share a double bedroom and the girls will share a 4 person bedroom. Out of all the teams, only them use the least rooms. The entire floor is used by their country teams, so it's possible that they may encounter the rest.

As for now, they haven't seen any team from the same country. If not, they would be able to greet each other earlier. No matter what, they represent the same country, they must be united.

After dinner, the bring up their luggage to the Level 5, this is where teams from their country are placed. When the elevator door opens, there are a group of 3 people consisting of 2 men and 1 woman, they are most probably the teachers or staff.

"Hello." They say hi to each other politely.

"Are you the team from City Nan?" The older man ask as he shake hand with Sir Austin. Sir Austin looks like foreigner but the 4 students are obviously Chinese.

"Yes we are. I am the teacher, we are from QiYing High School City Nan, these are my students." Sir Austin introduced himself and show his name tag.

"Hello, hello. We are teachers from ChongZhe High School from City Bei. This female teacher is from Zhou International School. Our students already settled in, we are waiting for the briefing. I heard this is your school's first time participating, you can join us if you don't mind." The older teacher said again. Sir Austin is delighted when he heard this, he really do need guidance now.

"Good, good. I will have a few words with my students first then come join you." Sir Austin said. After agreeing to meet at the lobby, Sir Austin send them to the room first.

"Jian Yu, you don't have to follow me, just stay in the room and take a rest early." Sir Austin said. Li Jian Yu agree and bring in the luggage into the room. The three girls also find their room in no time. Only then did Sir Austin go downstairs to catch up with the other teachers.

When the three girls enter the bedroom, well, it was quite small compared to all 4 people room that Bai Yi Yang had ever stayed before but there are still space for them to arrange their luggage. Ruby An decided to take a shower first while Bai Yi Yang and Wang Yi Lin open up the luggage that that their female teacher provide. Since they are free, they iron the formal wear set for tomorrow, including Li Jian Yu's.

Other than that, they also arrange the matching shirt that they need to wear while they are here. Besides the formal wear, they also need to wear same clothes with their school logo as long as they are involved in the the event's activities. This is an unwritten rule of every events.

"We also need to find a laundry place. Other than for tomorrow, we still need to wear our school uniform on Thursday during the closing ceremony again." Wang Yi Lin said.

"En, wait, let me ask about it." Bai Yi Yang said and went to make a call using the room telephone. Wang Yi Lin didn't thought of that, she almost went to trouble Sir Austin again.

"Yes, I want to ask if you provide laundry and drying service here?" Bai Yi Yang ask when the phone is picked up.

"You do. Are you still open now?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"Alright. Thank you." Bai Yi Yang hang up the phone.

"What did they say?" Wang Yi Lin ask. She thinks Bai Yi Yang brain is very quick, she settle the problem just like that.

"They have it at the first floor on the right wing, they close at midnight. If we send it today, we can get it tomorrow." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Good, good, then, let's send it before midnight." Wang Yi Lin said. At her words, Ruby An also come out of the shower.

"I will go take a shower first. You call Jian Yu and told him about this." Wang Yi Lin said.

"Okay." Bai Yi Yang nod and immediately call Li Jian Yu.

Like that, when Bai Yi Yang finished her shower, Wang Yi Lin and Ruby An volunteer to send the laundry.

"Don't forget to get the receipt." Bai Yi Yang remind them. The two older girls nod, seems like they are a bit excited to walk around, Bai Yi Yang let them be. They also planned to get Li Jian Yu uniform and send it together, so enthusiastic. Well, no matter what they are still young girls.

Bai Yi Yang didn't waste time, she open her laptop and checked their presentation slide for tomorrow. She put some effort in this presentation, she also noticed that her presentation last time was a bit boring, so she adjust the wording and arrangement a bit with more fancy transition to make it more interesting. She check it thoroughly and each time, she always find something that she can improve more.

"Oh, Jian Yu. Can I come over? I wanted to show you some slight changes." Bai Yi Yang quickly call Li Jian Yu.

"Yi Yang, I am actually down here with the rest. You wait for a while, I will come up." Li Jian Yu answer.

"En, I will wait outside. It's inappropriate for you to come inside our room." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Okay, okay. You hang on." Li Jian Yu said before hanging up.

Li Jian Yu and Sir Austin room is just a at the end of the corridor, its not very far. Bai Yi Yang lift up her laptop and head out if the room. Who knows that when she open the door, she will see some inappropriate things.

A handsome teenager is making out with an adorable looking girl at the door in front of their room door. The teenager boy is neatly dressed but the girl shirt is unbuttoned, exposing her chest, luckily not everything is taken off. Bai Yi Yang froze at the sight, and the two people doesn't seems to notice her yet since the boy keep groping the girl while kissing her and the girl continue to make weird noises.

"I am..sorry.." Bai Yi Yang was going to go out but now she thinks she need to go back inside immediately. The two people finally look up, the girl look embarrassed but the boy only grinned at the panicked Bai Yi Yang. Worse, why aren't they leaving, why must they continue to observe Bai Yi Yang struggling to open the door?

"Need help?" The teenage boy ask Bai Yi Yang. Bai Yi Yang really is not doing this on purpose, she have opened laptop on one hand and only one hand is free.

"Thanks. If you help me open the door, I won't continue to disturb you two." Bai Yi Yang hand him over the door card.

The teenage boy laugh lightly and help her open the door. Bai Yi Yang took back the card and stop the door with her shoulder and immediately enter the room. She didn't even dare to look at the two people straight at their faces. What was that? It was actually the first time she witness things like that in her life. Well, movies are different. These kids are really daring, doing it in the hallway.

Bai Yi Yang wait until Li Jian Yu come. When she open the door, the couple is gone, only Li Jian Yu is standing in the hallway.

"Come, Ruby and Yi Lin is there now. We can have a mini meeting while waiting for Sir Austin." Li Jian Yu said. Bai Yi Yang nod and follow him. When they start talking about serious things, she immediately forgot about that matters just now.
