Chapter 126: Rumours

The notification rings after Bai Yi Yang finished the transaction with Boss Sun. Today is the 30th of March, the promised day that she will sell Matsutake mushrooms to Boss Sun. Luckily its Friday, so she have extra time to pick mushrooms after school.

After having lunch with her siblings after school, they all set into the woods immediately. Bai Yi Chen and the rest went to pick other type of mushrooms to be dried while Bai Yi Yang set out on her own to find Matsutake mushrooms. The Bai siblings is used to the jungle now, they also knows most of the edible mushrooms that they can pick. Not only Bai Yi Yang, they are also quite good now, especially Bai Yi Chen and Bai Yi Ling.

"I didn't pick too much today, Uncle Sun, you can sell it at even higher price." Bai Yi Yang joke when she received the 36,000 yuan from Boss Sun.

"Clever! That's exactly what I am going to do." Boss Sun laugh aloud. He is quite well known amongst big restaurants owner now, it's because she is able to bring these precious ingredients to them.

"If you think weekdays is too difficult, we can change it to weekends. As long as you provide me these mushrooms two times a month, should be okay." Boss Sun said. He sometimes forgot that Bai Yi Yang who deals with tens of thousands money with him is only a high school student.

"Okay with me. Uncle Sun, you can tell me 1 day in advance before you come to pick them." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Good, good." Boss Sun nod. Bai Yi Yang then rush to the kitchen to take plastic bag and filled it with fresh mushrooms to be given to Boss Sun.

"I haven't had time to go to the orchard. So can only give this." Bai Yi Yang said as she hand over the big plastic.

"Yatou, I don't dare to accept them anymore. My wife scold me when she found out the price they were sold at Natural Grocery, she said that I am taking advantage of you siblings." Boss Sun said.

"You are not. If you want more, come anytime." Bai Yi Yang smile.

"Okay. I will not tell my wife when I come." Boss Sun laugh. He leave with the big plastic of fresh mushrooms after that.

Since it is already almost 4.00 pm, Bai Yi Yang didn't enter her workshop but joined her siblings drying the mushrooms instead. At the same time, she can look around and see their vegetables farm and walk around.

"They are almost ready. We can start selling them by the end of next month." Bai Yi Yang said.

"We will become more busy." Bai Yi Chen said.

"We can do it." Bai Yi Yang smile. After that, the siblings head to the orchard to look around, they stay for a while at the orchard and try ripe fruits before heading back home.

"Jie, what are we having for dinner?" Bai Yi Mo ask while they are heading home.

"Hurmm…lets see…lotus root and peanut with pork rib soup, pan fried fish with sweet and sour sauce and stir fry bean sprout. Is that okay?" Bai Yi Yang ask them.

"Okay! Can we have barbecue tomorrow?" Bai Yi Fang ask. It has been a while since they have barbecue.

"Not tomorrow, we will be busy at Old Zhou house." Bai Yi Chen remind his siblings.

Oh right, tomorrow Old Zhou house plan to call over the villagers to eat at their house, it was the so called wedding anniversary of the Old Zhou couple, but who can't guess that it was to celebrate the reunion of Old Zhou family. The Old Zhou family conflicts was quite famous, many people knows it and curious about what's happening now. This is also to shut people mouth, they won't say anything or talk behind them if they see by their own eyes how good their relationship now is. The wedding anniversary or whatsoever is what they told the outsiders.

"Yeah, Yi Yi said that they are going to kill a huge pig! A whole pig!" Bai Yi Fang said excitedly. The Yi Yi she is talking about is Zhou Zi Yi, second uncle Zhou 5 years old daughter. They have gotten close this passed few days.

"I want to see a whole pig." Bai Yi Mo also said excitedly.

"Tomorrow you will be able to see. I will bring you to come over early." Bai Yi Chen said with a small smile. Seems like someone has told him too. In their village, when there is big feast like this, people will come over to help, the male will usually do the difficult work by cooking outside while the female stay inside to do easier job.

Of course Bai Yi Yang have heard about this too. Seems like Old Zhou family is going all out. It was Zhang Ming Ming who told her yesterday. Zhang Ming Ming family raise a few pigs, Old Zhou family bought it from them. Zhang Ming Ming was asking her about what's going on with Old Zhou family but Bai Yi Yang also said the same thing like what Old Zhou family is telling everyone, it was for the old couple wedding anniversary.

"Right, Yang Yang, are we paying Grandpa Zhou salary tomorrow?" Bai Yi Chen ask. They were supposed to pay Grandpa Zhou today since today is the 30th, but Grandpa Zhou wasn't home when they stopped by Old Zhou house, Grandma Zhou don't want to accept it since she didn't know the deal between them. That's why Bai Yi Yang agree to hold onto it until they meet tomorrow morning, she will make this clear to Grandpa Zhou later that payday will be on the 30th.

"Yeah, give him the envelope tomorrow morning. We didn't state this clearly before, tomorrow we can tell him." Bai Yi Yang said.

The Bai siblings returned home while chatting on the road. Bai Yi Yang enter the kitchen right away and start cooking, her siblings play at the yard with TongTong and the puppies, they were running around being chased by the puppies.

Talking about the puppies, Bai Yi Yang didn't know when will he be able to bring them to town to get vaccinated, TongTong told her to take it easy, dogs in rural areas are not use to being taken care delicately, what more their puppies is taken care off very well. In addition to their good genetics, they are also taken care, what's there to be worried about.

As for their meal now, Bai Yi Yang had order dog food from G Supermarket before and they are eating that mainly now. She wanted to cook for them, but she is too busy now, maybe wait until she finished making all the furniture.

Her progress in woodworking now is very good, she had finished making all their bedroom furniture, it was all stacked in Bai Yi Mo, Bai Yi Fang and Bai Yi Ling bedroom. As for the stuff in Bai Yi Ling bedroom, she arranged them carefully on top of newly made bed. When Ru Qing and her team arrived next week, she will just let them arrange it then.

Now, she can start with making the living room furniture, the lounge corner and also the middle of the living room where she is going to place traditional style furniture. She is confident that she can finished all of it before next Saturday.

While Bai Yi Yang was cooking, Bai Yi Chen sat at the bar stool and chat with Bai Yi Yang. TongTong is also sitting on the table, lazing around.

"How is your research going?" Bai Yi Chen suddenly ask.

"Good, in another one week or so we can start reviewing the discussion part and after that it can be said that we are done." Bai Yi Yang answer.

"En.." Bai Yi Chen nod. She finished the fresh juice in his glass and head to the sink to wash it.

"I heard another rumour this week.." He said but he didn't look at Bai Yi Yang.

"Which rumour is it again?" Bai Yi Yang sigh. Seems like, she is surrounded by rumours now.

After her visit to school during Saturday 2 weeks ago, many people saw her and Song Zheng Sheng so their story was hot for one whole week. People was 100% sure that they are dating. Song Zheng Sheng also have her water bottle that he showed off to his friends, making the speculation that he is really dating someone, and they all think it is Bai Yi Yang. It's just that nobody directly address Bai Yi Yang as his girlfriend in front of the two of them. Even though Bai Yi Yang answer is always no, even her classmates doubted her and assume the same thing.

But then, this week, there is another ridiculous rumours. Bai Yi Yang didn't come to school on Saturday to see Song Zheng Sheng, it was Song Zheng Sheng who have unilateral crush towards her. That she actually come to the Chemistry lab to meet the top student Li Jian Yu, she is actually Li Jin Yu's girlfriend. The clueless two people who suddenly become a couple in other people eyes were shocked. Even Sir Austin got worried. They are teammates, what if they have a fight and affect the whole team harmony. So Sir Austin clarify this things to them, and of course they say no. It was too unbelievable that the two of them is dating, it is more believable that Bai Yi Yang is dating Wang Yi Lin okay.

"Senior Li Jian Yu.." Bai Yi Chen said. As expected, this one, Bai Yi Yang thought. Because of the ridiculousness of this thing, Bai Yi Yang laugh.

"You believe?" Bai Yi Yang ask Bai Yi Chen.

"Of course no. I just don't like hearing it. Since Song Zheng Sheng got involved with you, people like spreading rumours about you, they will pair you up with any student no matter girl or boys that is close to you." Bai Yi Chen said, frowning.

"Let them be. As long as it isn't true. Ge, I am not affected by it, you shouldn't be too. If we care too much, then people will be more enthusiastic to spread more stories." Bai Yi Yang said.

"En, you are right." Bai Yi Chen nod.

"It's just a momentary interest. They will lose interest soon when they found something else to talk about." Bai Yi Yang add.

Bai Yi Chen nod. It was like this when they first enter the school in the middle of semester. He looks good so many people like him at first, some girl confessed and he rejected them. There are those who let it go, but there are some who start spreading rumours about him, saying that he got transferred here because if disciplinary problems and so on.

Bai Yi Yang current rumours is still okay, at least she is just surrounded with love rumours. The situation is different of course, there is no one who hold any grudges on Bai Yi Yang, the student just do this to make school life more fun. It's just exciting when there is new couples at school, what more if the couples is good looking. So, people got interested.

"Eat dinner now or later?" Bai Yi Yang ask when she finished cooking.

"Go take a shower first. It's still early." Bai Yi Chen said. Bai Yi Yang nod and head to the Main house. Her siblings has also went to take a shower a while ago. Now they are watching TV with wet hair. Bai Yi Ling is nagging at them while helping Bai Yi Fang wipe her hair, she gave Bai Yi Mo a towel to wipe his own hair.

Bai Yi Yang is used to this scene, out of them two sisters, Bai Yi Ling is really the one who acts like a real mother, the one who scold and nag. While Bai Yi Yang is more indulging, she will always agree to anything as long it is reasonable.

Take the nighttime for example, sometimes the two small one will ask for a bedtime story because they can't fall asleep, Bai Yi Ling will scold them and scare them with some belief if they refuse to sleep, however Bai Yi Yang will agree with their request, she will find stories from her phone and read it to them. This is the difference with their approach.
