CHAPTER 3: TURNS OF FATE

As Arya without focusing on her studies continued her chatting with AI,"I found myself in Park Seo-Joon's study room,solving his math problems. Seo-Joon, driven by a genuine thirst for knowledge, immersed himself in learning. Yuri, his clumsy maid, handed him juice with shaky hands, nearly causing a accident. I stepped in heroically, catching the glass with a cool attitude. Seo-Joon still cares like nothing happened and continued his studies , but unfortunately, his mother scolded Yuri for her clumsiness.

Seo-Joon's mother, a strict and perfectionist,one of the topmost costume designer in Seoul,and someone who dislikes me, has two contrasting moods – sweet and kind towards poor people on social media , and with a bad temper in reality. She is clever and you can't even imagine what's her next move.Despite she is strict , she hired me as her son's tutor. Although she may seem harsh, she loves her son so much. On other hand,Seo-Joon excels in many things, yet he's constantly compared to me by his abnormal father. He exhibits psychotic behavior and tortures him, despite Seo-Joon's achievements.His father is just a curse for him.In my opinion, everyone needs a mother like Seo-Joon had, and nobody should have a father like he does.

I still remember last month, seo-joon's father entered with a tense behaviour, affected by heavy alcohol. He gestured for me to leave Seo-Joon's study room, then closed the door behind me. I heard screams, realizing that Seo-Joon's dad was causing severe physical violation on him with a belt. The screams suddenly stopped when his mother interrupted and rescued him. She inquired about the reason for the beating, and he explained that he missed achieving the top rank by a single mark. Through my brown eyes, I could see he was deeply hurt, not only physically but also by his frustrated father's behaviour. That's why he lives like a machine, without any expressions.

After thinking deeply about Seo-Joon's parents' behavior, my mind returned to solving his math problems. I swiftly finished the tasks related to his homework and completed mine in a matter of minutes. As Seo-Joon deeply involved into learning English words, I noticed an Indian book titled 'MAHABHARAT' in his personal library. Initially shocked to find my favorite book, I began reading it passionately,enjoying it like a novel lover. I was on the edge of finishing the book when he arrived, acting like a villain, and immediately returned the book to its original place.But still, my heart burst with eagerness to read my favorite book, like a baby urged to play with a new toy.

After my tutoring session ended, I received my payment from Seo-Joon's mother. Planning to get some favorite snacks, I rode my bicycle slowly in the evening. Yuri, the maid of Seo-Joon's mansion, ran in front of me like a mad woman. Our eyes met with a connection, and she had an accident, ending up dead on the road. Her blood flowed all over, even touching my bicycle tires. Bystanders rushed to help and someone with a good heart called an ambulance, but what's the use? My mind replayed her death scene repeatedly.

Then, I received a call from my mother. Instead of worrying about Yuri, I headed home. Upon reaching, I took a shower, the water slowly sprinkling on my head. My mind remained on the recent deaths because every person who dies seems to make eye contact with me.The most important thing I learned from these deaths ,"Death is ultimate.one day, everyone must go through that path."

As Arya was deeply involved in a chat with AI, her mother noticed and inquired, "Arya! What are you doing, my princess? Let me check your computer once. What is this AI chat app? Why are you using it instead of focusing on your studies?"

Arya, speaking in a lowered voice, replied, "Mom, I don't have any friends to share my thoughts or anything, so I started a chat with AI. It's just a robot that responds to chat like a human."

Arya's mother, in a frustrated mood, deleted the app and approached Arya closely, saying, "My daughter Arya is not alone. You can share anything with me,like iam your friend and I always stand with you, my child. Even though I may be alone at my office, I feel like I have you, so please don't use any internet app to share your thoughts. It may seem normal to you until someone sees it and they will definitely use it against you. In this world, the first lesson I learned is not to show our weaknesses because someone will undoubtedly use them as weapons to target us."

Arya's eyes filled with tears as her mother explained the cruelty of people. She hugged her mother and said, "I love you, Mom. I promise, from now on, I won't share my thoughts with any app. Please don't tell Dad and he feels sad for me."

Arya's mother kissed her on the forehead and informs, "After you finish your class, please come home quickly. We will go shopping with your father and let us enjoy some grilled chicken too."

Arya, with a shocked expression, asks, "Really? I'll definitely finish my class quickly to be here."

Observing the time as 6:00 AM, Arya rushes to the bathroom to get ready for school.

She got ready perfectly for school, approaching her room's mirror, she said, "No matter what happens, you are still beautiful and shining like a star, Arya!"

After hastily eating her breakfast, she discovered that her bicycle tire was punctured. So, she headed towards the bus stand, managed to catch a bus, and found a seat that was left unoccupied. While thinking about her mother's words, she received a message notification revealing on the internet that Seo-Joon's maid, Yuri, was accused of fraud where she had affair with many people and she cheated them for money.Arya was shocked to see the news.

One of her school junior boys observed Arya intently. Upon witnessing her, he suddenly ran from the moving bus onto the street, where he fell on the road, and a bus crashed with him, resulting in his death.
