Leon stepped out from the shadow of the Demon Bear, surprising him to the point that he could not defend himself. Leon used the first stage of the Ryūshi Art to eliminate the Demon Bear once and for all.

Leon took advantage of the speed he had gained by stepping out of the Demon Bear's shadow via the CH-T skill, unsheathed his sword and called out, "First move of the Ryoushi Art Cross Cut!"

When he said those words, his hand moved quickly and in a clean cut, the demon bear was cut into two parts and all of its falling entrails were scattered on the ground while Leon stood on the side. 

Leon looked at the corpse of the demon bear. After that, he looked at his hands as he flexed his fist and opened it, surprised at how far he had come since the first day he entered the forest until now.
