Chapter 10

"I'm glad that all of you are safe and round dear regulars."

As always with his sneaky and smug tone Han Sung Yu greeted all regulars who were sitting in the office room.

It was a necessary prelude before you start climbing the tower as you ought to learn what to do in your journey.

Rankers in floor of test are obliged to teach regulars how to use shinsu or how to navigate yourself in necessary situations...you can call it college for regulars in a way.

"As you all already know...you will be separated into 5 different classes such as Light Bearers,Fishermen,Scout, spearmen and  Wave controller"

Like in games everyone including rankers had there roles to play.

Han Sung pressed the button on his remote which he was holding and turned on the big TV in his back.

It displayed the roles which were assigned to regulars.

Koon throughoutly observed the screen and smirked.

'It seems I'm a light bearer...tch...too bad I'm not with Bam."

Speaking of Bam...he was assigned as Wave Controller which was surprising for him but if rankers thought that this was the best role for him than it should be right.

Also Rak as expected was spearman.

"Now. I want you all to go to your classes based on roles you got...be sure to study good,kids~!"

As said everyone stood up and proceeded towards the exit.

"Well than,Bam and Alligator I wish ya both luck!"

She waved her hands going towards her class.

"You too Blue Turtle. Hmph! Be ready to see how good I am Black Turtle! Break a leg."

Bam laughed and waved towards his friends.

"Wish you both luck!"

With that said he was now alone....

"It seems everyone are gone to their classes....but....where is my class??"

Yep...he was totally lost.

Feeling hopeless he started to look around for any kind of help but he saw no one.

"Wh-What should I do???"

"You are quite a strange one."

"Huh?"

Sudden voice surprised Bam as upon turning to see to whom the voice belonged he saw her....her beautiful red hair and an eye patch covering her eye...Bam immediately recognized her.

"Y-You are....the latex girl?"

She chuckled.

"What kind of weird nickname is this?"

Bam was glad that she was ok...he never intended to hurt her so he immediately bowed down.

"I'm sorry!"

"Huh? For what?"

"Y-Your eye... because of me you...."

"Nah. I'm pretty much sure that I hit you hard in the head so we are even."

"But because of me..."

"No. I'm quite sure it wasn't intentional and beside...."

She cornered him while with one glowing red eye looked at him strictly.

"...You can compensate me this silly mistake of yours~"

"Really!? Than I will!"

Her expression changed immediately.

"..."

"What?"

"I wasn't expecting you to agree this fast."

"Haha sorry...one person told me that when you are in debt you should always repay it."

"Hm? But it's not like you are indebted to me,no?"

"Well..." He shook his head while awkwardly looked at her "I came to this tower to make friends so...maybe if I will do you a favor you will be my friend?"

"..."

"Umm...."

"Ha...Ha... Hahaha." The red haired girl fall into an uncontrollable laugher. "I was expecting something like money or me helping you climb the tower but you choose this of all things? You are funny one."

It was a rare sight...to expect that under such a cold beauty there is actually a good person? Bam was glad that it made her to smile.

"Well than...what should I do?"

"Nothing much. Just treat me with some drink and we are even."

"Alright!"

Bam immediately got out his pocket and bought her black coffee using points he earned in tests.

"Hm?"

"Something is wrong?"

"No. Just how did you noticed that I love black coffee?"

"W-Well... actually guessing from your calm and mature attitude you seem like a person who loves mature stuff like black coffee."

"Ho? You are quite a personality reader aren't you?"

"N-No it is just a guess...Miss Koon also loves black coffee and Mr. Rak...he drinks banana juice...Even Mister Han Sung Yu drinks coffee but he prefers instant one which is more sugary."

"Whoah...it was knowledgeable information."

"Come to think of it...I never heard your name."

She smiled.

"The name is Hwaryun. Nice to meet you,The 25th Bam."

With that said she lead Bam to the Wave Controller's class.

The fluffy mascot-like suit which resembled a rice ball with horns. This was the teacher of wave controller class Ren.

"I'm glad that all of you were chosen as wave controllers! I, your teacher, will make sure you learn everything fully and neatly!"

He expanded his hands as everyones' pockets switched to visible mode.

"Now before you can use shinsu you should make a contract with an administrator. This will allow you to use shinsu from administrator"

Administrators are the most powerful beings in the whole tower....there power was enough to kill all high rankers with single hand...in a way they were litteraly beings close to godly.

Ren instructed the regulars to close there eyes and say 'contract' out loud.

Bam did as was told and something seemed off...he no longer was in the realm of humane.

He was in endless dark void while an unknown being pierced him with it's giant eye.

It was so huge that it could cover whole floor.

"Who are you,boy?"

His mighty sound seemed like whirlwind which will send you off flying in an instant.

"I came to sign a contract...."

"Ho? Very well than....you look delicious so I will wait and see how your future will go."

The shining light appeared near the Bam as he snapped out of his dream.

'Wh-What was that??'

He worriedly exclaimed in his mind.

Not so long after he was approached by someone.

"You are Bam,right?"

"M?"

Bam looked to see who it was and he saw a boy with pair of red horns wearing white robe.

"My name is Ho. I'm your fellow classmate. I just thought that talentless people like us should join together."

Saying awful words about him and Bam Ho seemed too calm.

"Talentless? This boy?"

Another voice came out...and this time it was from the floor.

A man was sleeping on floor covered by his white blanket and sleeping on his white pillow.

"Mr. Laure!"

Bam waved at him.

In fact Bam met Laure several days after he woke up.

Laure lost his pillow and Bam kindly found it.

"What do you mean by those words...Laure?"

Laure opened his eyes for a moment.

"You called him talentless like you but...."

Laure expanded his hand as a sphere of shinsu was created out of nowhere.

"Can you copy this?"

This question was addressed for both Laure and Bam.

Bam feeling that Laure wouldn't let him go extended his hands and imagined exactly the same kind of sphere like Laure did and.... Surprisingly it was formed on his hands.

"See? It's a pure talent."

"..."

Ho was strangely silent which seemed awkward for Bam.
