Chapter 3 Part 3

As he moved on, he got the bag he had on his back, which was from before the calamity, and checked for equipment he had. He really didn't have much in his bag, so he decided to go find the nearest store, and see if he could get anything useful. As he walked to a nearest store, he saw a tall, buff, and bald guy, who seemed to be wearing sunglasses, without the frame to go on his ears, who was half naked, only in jeans. Though Codarius didn't put much thought into him, other than the fact he was a weird guy, the moment he walked past him, he felt an extreme goosebump, and an aura that drove off from him.

Codarius looked back a little, as he walked further and further away. As the guy walked away, Codarius saw that he seemed to have caught the attention of some females that were walking on the sidewalk, and then they began following him. However, the moment he got past a police post, some of the police immediately ran out, and started chasing him. After the police, several guards also came out, and began chasing him at full speed. The guy gave the girl that was following him a farewell kiss, and ran off. He was shoeless... Codarius then finally ignored the guy and moved on.

Codarius then realized he could probably find a good guild nearby, that would solve a decent number of his problems. He then began walking in the back alleyways of the town, and looked for a guild. He began walking up some stairs, until he bumped into someone. He looked up to apologize, but then saw a very familiar silhouette from the bright light shining behind the figure. This figure, which was emitting a bright aura that could possibly pierce even the darkest of all days, was very clear to Codarius who he was. It was Lux!

Codarius' eyes widened, and then Codarius exclaimed, "It's Lux! I didn't think I'd be able to see you again!" Lux then looked at Codarius extremely confused. Lux then asked, "Well, I don't think we've met before, nor do I remember telling you my name," Codarius then realized that he had never actually met Lux in this time, and felt stupid, as he should've noticed by the fact that Lux seemed to be about the same age as him.

Codarius then said, "Well I know your name because you're the 5th general of the Mages in this kingdom." Lux then said, "That must be a misunderstanding, I'm not even a mage, and the current 5th General of the mages is Hristov, the great fire mage." Codarius realized how wrong his bold assumption was, and Lux obviously took this quite suspiciously, and said, "You clearly just said my name there, and I clearly don't remember telling you my name or ever seeing you, are you stalking me?" Codarius then immediately replied, "No no no no no, I wasn't, if I was, why would I just speak up to you?" Lux then put his hands on his chin, and put some thought into it.

He then looked back up, and said, "Ok, I won't suspect you as much." Codarisu knew he was definitely still suspecting him. Codarius then sighed, as he didn't do quite the reunion he was expecting. Then again, he was really cold to Lux the last time he saw him, and didn't really know him that well either, so maybe he's being too selfish, he thought. He then realized he could probably ask Lux if he knew a good guild. He then asked Lux, "Hey, do you know where a good guild is, any recommendations from you?" Lux then pointed at the top of the stairway, "I know there's a guild over there. A lot of people go to that one, and in fact, I just came from there. I don't mind going back and taking you there." "I'd appreciate that'', Codarius said. Lux then told Codarius to follow him, as he began walking up the stairs.
