Chapter 1 Part 9

The boy paused for a moment, and then continued to go further into the building. The building felt as if it was made by a white and light blue light, and felt as if he was walking on nothing, just floating and moving forward whenever he moved his legs. The boy wondered, 'What is this place? What does any of this have to do with people being purified?' There were light blue and white spherical particles everywhere, that lighted up the translucent place. As he moved on, he felt the spherical lights moving through him, phasing through his body without anything seeming to stop it. As it went through his body, he saw the lights lighting up inside him, making his body glow. The more he went deeper to the hallway, the more the lights engulfed him.

The hallway began losing its physical appearance every moment he took a step, and before he knew it, he continued being dragged deeper into the hall without even walking there. The never ending hallway seemed to be rather moving towards him at this point. All the white light completely engulfed him like a blizzard storm covering someone in snow, except it was not cold, nor warm, but very relaxing. The boy felt his eyes open, and there, he saw a white space of complete nothing. There was a book. Several Books floating around. However when he opened the book, he gasped, as it didn't have any words written on it. However, it was a language he could read, and see, it was a sheet music, for a piece.

The boy saw the sheet music, and then sat down in the space, in which he just simply floated in. With severe hesitation, he began reading the sheet music. The boy didn't recognize the piece, as he had never heard of it, and from what he saw from it, it was in a style that he had never heard of before. As he flipped through the pages, he approached a blank page, with nothing truly ending the piece. This made the boy feel a little shocked, and disappointed. The boy moved on and then began looking at other sheet music. He then noticed, this sheet music he just picked up eventually just ends with a sudden blank page, making everything just simply end without ending the actual piece. He then rapidly checked several other sheet music, and they all seemed to have ended with a sudden blank part.

Then he noticed, each one he opened and reached the blank paper, began decaying, and turned black, melting down into the space, eventually swirling in the air, completely being erased from existence. He then saw that within the infinite amounts of book shelves of sheet music, there was a tremendously huge piece of sheet music in the horizon of this world. It kept on flipping page to page. He wondered what this place was, until he then began realizing, without him noticing, there was a piece of music playing somewhere. It did not feel like he was physically hearing it, but as if it was actually the one that was creating his consciousness itself, and the whole existence or concept of even existing.

As he began hearing this, he looked at the tremendously huge sheet music on the horizon. It matched the music completely. It was a piece written on an instrument that he had never heard before. It sounded very soft and mild, despite having a percussion feel to it. This music completely took over the boy's mind with its soothing and relaxing sound–the boy felt as if he had become one with the music. However, the page flipped again, and then the boy saw a blank page. Then at the moment where the measure reached the blank page, the music completely stopped. The boy anticipated this, but at the moment it stopped, a subconscious instinct made the boy gasp as if something terrible happened, but along with it, the space around the boy began swirling around and then before he knew it, he was in front of the Grand Sanatorium.
