InHarmony

Madness engulfs one, disconnecting from all. Granting the one’s wish, it is uncontrolled, lurking in the beyond, bringing its dissonance, for the one’s wish wanted. Bringing it, all will shatter like glass, as if everything was nothing but just a bad dream…

Chapter 1 Part 5

He knew that if he fell from that distance to the floor, he'll die. He closed his eyes, and smiled as he fell down. But before his body took it's last strike, something flew and then grabbed him. It was the mage from before, who asked him if he was ok. He then realized that he was on the ground safe.

The mage then looked at him, and asked again, "Are you good?" The boy got really pissed again, and screamed, "Why did you save me? I could've finally gone without fearing it!" The mage then replied, "Why do you see this world like that?" The boy then replied, "How can YOU see the world however you're seeing it. It's bullshit, how can you smile, how can you feel sorry for anything, you're a piece of shit!" The mage looked at him, and went to the piano.

He began playing random notes that didn't make any sense. The notes also didn't resonate, nor did the piano do anything. "You see, I can't play this wonderful thing." The boy got confused, and screamed once again at him, "HUHHHH, What's that supposed to say about anything huh? Was I playing jack shit earlier, HELL NO, you're not making a single fucking point Mr. smart mage." Then the mage replied, "But when you played random notes, the piano responded to you.

Each of your touches changed the atmosphere, it was quite fascinating to see actually, though it was pretty destructive. Maybe if you really use that talent of yours, you can bring great joy to the world too?" Those words repeated in the boy's head. 'I've heard that so many times,' the boy thought. He heard the voices of people repeating that line, "You have so much talent, you can do so much for everyone." Back then, maybe he was happy to hear that.

But those words angered him so much, he began running to the mage. He then landed a punch straight into the mages face. He was really surprised that he actually even landed a punch on him, despite how fast the mage was. However, the mage just stood still, expressionlessly to the punch. He then scratched his head and then replied, "Well, I surely hope that's not how you thank someone that just saved you." Then the mage grabbed the boy, and then set him down on the piano again. "You know, I think I've seen you somewhere before, surely, you know how to play this thing. Try playing something that you actually know, instead of random notes." The boy's face was full of fear now.
