Meeting

What is this feeling? It's like..... I'm numb. The last thing I remember was..... wait, my memories a little fuzzy. What is happening? It's like, I'm dead. Why can't I see anything? Why can't I feel anything? Hmmm. Stay calm, Quinn. Stay calm.

First. Let us determine what has happened to me. Negate all the panicking. Calm my mind. What has happened to me previously?

"You have died." A voice of a female system in my head spoke. I was shocked, and a little bit scared. Well, at least I have something to talk to. And what did she(?) say? Did I die? Wait. I think I did die. But how do I die? And who in the world are you?

"I am the system. I am the one who will pick 1 in a hundred million dead humans on Earth. And I have chosen you, Quinn Joules." Expressed the voice lifelessly. So she's(?) the system, huh? I don't know if I'm dreaming or not, but I do think that I died.

Ohh! Now. I remember. I died because my father killed me. He stabbed me in the back when I was studying. Hmmm. What a disgrace I am in my previous life. Well, at least no one in my family will ever see anyone who studies all day long doing nothing except for training himself Archery and studying.

"I will explain this easily." The voice again intoned vocally. "Do you want to live again or not?" I was in intense shock. Wh-what? If we are saying that I'm living on earth, definitely not. I don't want to live again in that cruel world. But if we are saying that in other worlds, I would choose yes. Not if it's true anyways.

"Of course, of course. With the help of my authority and power, I would grant you another life, and an Individual Magic Power at your choice at that. So, how's that?" The System asked, her(?) finally her(?)voice starting to have life. 'How on Earth does she know what I'm thinking anyway? Also, Individual Magic Power? The world I might be transferred to has Magic? Furthermore, why are you doing this to me? It's not like I did anything to you anyways.'

"Well, the one that led me to do this is because of your perseverance and your hardships on your past Earth life. Your cruel family and life touched me and, here we are. So, are you accepting my offer or not?" She(?) asked vocally. 'Awww, thank you. Not to be rude or anything, but what if I don't accept your offer?'

"Well, you will wait at the sanctuary. Good luck on that." The System said, almost like scaring me. 'Okay, okay. You win, I lose. I'll accept your offers. It's not like I'm going to refuse anyways.'

"Okay. I will now explain what world you will be transferred to. The world you will be transferred to have magic beings, like trolls, elves, etc. magical powers, and on top of that, on what Earth calls it, Game. This world has game-like powers, and on how to determine your abilities and skills only need to think about the word STATUS. I'll show you the format." The System explained, her(?) voice finally has life on it. Then, a transparent box-shaped screen with letters on it filled my vision.

Hmmm. I think I'm fairly knowledgeable including this topic. Let's start with the Abilities. Strength means the Physical Power of a certain person. Regeneration is the speed at how you can regenerate your wounds. Magic Power, means the Magic Ability of a person, while Mana determines how fast one can regenerate your magical energy.

Agility means the speed of oneself, not only by the distance covered but by reacting to danger as well. While on the other hand, Vitality means the Physical Toughness of a person, and how oneself can endure. HP, means the lifeline of oneself.

If your HP {HitPoint} goes down, you are dead. MP, on the other hand, is the capacity on how many times you can cast a Magic Skill or Skills. Ability Points means the points you can add to your ability. 'But system, how many sums will be added if I put one AP {Ability Point} on one particular ability?'

"Good question. One AP can add 3 points to your Strength, the same goes for Agility, Vitality, and Regeneration. While Magic Power and Mana add 5 points. Any questions?" The System then explained. Ohh, okay. Depending on the Individual Power I will choose, I will choose any long-ranged Jobs.

"None? Okay. Please choose your Individual Power. I'm a bit preoccupied at the moment. Sorry. Your choices include this;" She(?) intoned. Then, another transparent screen popped in front of me filled my vision, and then looked unto it.

<Unique Skills> {Please choose one out of all, thank you}

<Infinite Mana>: Have an infinite mana pool, gaining a great advantage towards magic. Though, this doesn't increase one's Magic Power.

<Godly Senses>: All the 21 senses are extremely enhanced, more than a gazillion times. This ability can be turned off or on.

<Taming Lord>: Can tame any beast and monsters with ease, and make them yours and yours only.

<Golem Creator> : Can create golems at ease. These golems are extremely sturdy, strong, fast even if it's ginormous. These are intensely loyal to you.

<Omni-Tasking>: Can do a billion tasks easily, briskly, and not even getting exhausted even a little bit.

<Disease Immortality>: Needless to say, can be immune to all diseases.

'Okay. I choose... <Golem Creation>.' I thought, and then the System let out a deep sigh.

"And here I thought you would choose <Infinite Mana>." The system intoned. I grinned coldly. Of course. Infinite Mana was just a bait. I am not that greedy to choose Infinite Mana. All you need to do is just use a bit of your brain and selflessness.

I chose <Golem Creation> over <Infinite Mana> because the Infinite Mana was just a bait. I predicted the moment I saw Infinite Mana that it was just a bait. How? <Infinite Mana> sure sounds extremely useful and hopeful, but being selfless and having good morals must win first rather than being selfish and greedy.

If I chose <Infinite Mana>, maybe the System would give me the opposite of this, which is not able to use mana. Worst case scenario, one would not be able to live again, perhaps, reincarnate. Furthermore, I chose the <Golem Creation> over all the choices, especially <Taming Lord>, was because <Golem Creation> is the most efficient and sturdiest [Individual Skill] to have, since I am a long-range fighter.

"Let us have you reincarnated already. I'm a bit ahead of time. Well then, may you live your next life to the fullest, good luck. P.S. I will give you a handbook about the knowledge about this world. Also, you already know how to use the language of this world. Goodbye, Quinn." The System then explained, and I felt unconsiousness.

I have one goal. To survive. And that is the only goal I will reach until the day that I die. Thus, my journey in this new said world begins.
