Third Person's P.O.V.
"If all of you are truly sure of what you all are about to do, then you need to obey me," Quinn said.
....
"Have all of you decided on what License yourselves will take?" Quinn asked.
"Yes. Here's a paper. We listed what License we will take, and why." Celestine said, handing a paper to Quinn. Then, Celestine sat on the chair after he gave Quinn the paper.
Erza and Frost, on the other hand, stayed still, sitting on the chair in front of the round table. Quinn took the small paper, opened it, and then read it. The three were excited about Quinn's expressions as they all looked at each other. Their eyes were filled with great excitedness. As Quinn read the written things on the paper, he was shocked. He let out a smirk, and then looked at all of his friends. All smiled.
"As expected. How sharp is your brain anyways?" Celestine said. They all laughed. After some time, the message on the paper finally sank in Quinn's mind.
"Okay. For future circumstances, I will read what's on this piece of paper just to confirm." Quinn said as they nodded. "First — I, Frost, is willing to take the Exam for Rolat License, to be able to be a medic to support Quinn. I will use my knowledge that I gained from my grandfather to fully aid Quinn — ... Is this what you truly want? Are you really sure about this? You can always say no." Quinn asked.
"After all you've done to me, I'll never say no," Frost replied, as he let out a small genuine smile.
"That's crystal clear. Okay, next. — I, Celestine, am willing to take an Exam for Eiff License, to be able to be an Engineer/Architect to support Quinn. I will use my knowledge that I learned from my sister to be able to fully aid Quinn —... The same question goes for you." Quinn said.
"Of course," Celestine replied, smiling.
"Okay. Lastly. — I Erza, is willing to take an exam for Eeba License, to be able to be a Navigator to support Quinn. For the rest of my life, I will use my knowledge and skills that I learned these past few years to be there for Quinn — The paper states. Are you really sure?" Quinn stated.
"As I said, I'll follow you for the rest of my life," Erza said. Quinn was a loss for words.
He was happy, yet felt selfish as well deep inside. He can only smile while thinking of the future. Quinn did his habit, laying his hands on the table and then putting his hand on his chin. Then, he inhaled deeply, then exhaled. He calmed his mind and his heart, negating everything.
Quinn has this habit of laying his hands on the table while putting his left hand on his chin, elbow still placed on the table when he channels his inner mind. After a few seconds of thinking, Quinn went back to sitting normally.
In all of the things that Erza explained about Licenses, one took out Quinn's attention the most. It was his past life's most liked career that he always dreamt of. However, as stated, he can't. Rather, his parents won't let him. He can only dream. But now that he is in this world, and no one in the whole world can restrain him from doing things he really wants, he wanted to live his life to the fullest.
"If Frost really wants to be a Medic, Celestine an Engineer/Architect, and Erza a Navigator, then I'll enroll in Rajad. I will be a Politician. Well, if possible." Quinn said.
Celestine and Frost suddenly were astonished. Celestine, who was drinking water, coughed out of shock. They all looked at Quinn, their eyes enlarged. They all were at great astounded when they heard that. Being a politician is a big deal. Big deal.
"Why are all of you so astonished? Is there a ghost or something?" Quinn nonchalantly asked, his face full of confusion.
"Q-Quinn. Are you really sure? This is a really big step you're taking." Frost stuttered, sweat coming from his head.
"Of course. What's the big deal?" Quinn nonchalantly replied.
"N-no! It's not like that. It's just that.... never mind." Frost said hesitantly.
The faces that they all showed to Quinn made him quite confused. He didn't know why they gave off that vibe, but he shrugged it off immediately. He only thinks of it as a minor thing, so he didn't give that much of attention to it. However, he didn't lower his guard. Quinn never lowered his guard. Not even once.
*2 days later*
"Are all of you guys ready?" Quinn asked.
"Yeah!" Celestine, Frost, and Erza shouted as all of them smiled, their eyes filled with excitedness, hearts filled with curiosity on what was about to happen. They all looked in front of them.
"Then let us begin!"
