As Rain had expected, the king used the same tricks against him… shadow golems, shadow dragons, the cloaked shadow, and the beholder… However, all of them turned into smoke after being defeated. The visibility of the area soon became insanely bad with each passing moment.
Rain already knew what the king was planning, and trying to stop him was a waste of time, so he decided to just wait for the chance to fight him directly. When the fourth challenge was defeated, the king jumped from his throne… Rain was expecting that he would absorb all the shadow magic in the surroundings, but instead of, he turned all the smoke into shadow blades that enveloped the entire room… if he used to attack them, they wouldn't be able to do anything, but try to defend themselves.
"Focus on the plan," Rain said, and then he stepped onward toward the enemy.
