Hilo's body looked completely normal despite the power of the punch… he quickly resumed his previous stance without any issues. Rain immediately understood why… just like Hilo could cancel or delete an experiment, he also could cancel or delete damage. It was like the ultimate version of Mana Shield.
Level 55: Mana Shield - Create a protective shield using mana to absorb incoming damage. Higher levels grant you the power to cancel damage more efficiently and more damage.
Using a similar effect, Hilos used all of the void knowledge and Energy he had accumulated in that dimension to make sure that his existence would never be threatened. Still, something was off… Why would he go that far when he was supposed to be waiting for the end?
