All the recruits behind Rain nodded silently. They were nervous since that was their first real battle, and their first job was to invade the enemy's territory like that… It sure made them feel overwhelmed.
While looking in the distance, Rain could see some guards around the city, but their numbers were quite small. Rain had an easy time snipping them… his goal was to scare the shit out of the people there, so he would achieve that better by appearing with an army that all of a sudden.
Even though they were over one kilometer away, Rain managed to hit them in the head silently and make all of them fall… his dexterity was that high, but he didn't think that it was that useful.
In the end, the group was found when they began to approach the lights of the city… the sound of their armor also revealed their positions as well, so it couldn't be helped.
