The Great Escape (5)

'BAM!'

The 10th commander broke the table before him in a fit of fury. His eyes had turned red as a surge of killing intent burst forward.

"You are telling me that a child killed you all?" The 10th commander said as he glared at the black demon before him. 

"Chief, we didn't know what happened; all of this also came as a surprise to us. I barely made it alive myself, too.." The black demon said as sweat dripped down his forehead.

"You can die as well then." In an instant, the black demon burst into a pool of blood.

The 10th commander was furious at Rafael. He had been fooled. And by a child, no less.

He gritted his teeth as he vowed to kill Rafael no matter what.

On Rafael's end,

'Thud, Thud'

It had been quite a while now since Rafael had escaped. An hour or two at best. At the moment, He was sprinting beneath the igneous rocks as his blue aura surged forward like an ocean.

His demeanour was that of a warrior as he ran with an unbelievable speed. His white hair waved as his blue eyes glowed like ever.

Rafael felt quite the satisfaction when he learned he was level 19. He had expected his level to grow up to 10 or 15. So, getting up to level 19 was quite a surprise for him. A smile appeared on his face for the first time in his life.

 His muscles wanted to relax, but he couldn't do so in a race against time. He might have a good time when he gets his Revenge. Who knows?

With the addition of benefits like 'The State', Rafael, if not for the fact that his life was on the line. Would've immediately lied down and relaxed. However, In the end, Fate is always unfair.

'I have to get there. My senses are telling me I have to. '

'I have to if I don't want to die.' Rafael thought as he looked towards the black dot.

For some reason, Rafael felt an urge rise within him to rush towards that black dot. 

And now here he was,

Unknowingly creating a horrifying, unpredictable future for himself.

As Rafael contemplated, he felt that something was up. His speed started to get slower and slower. His mind started to shut down. His vision started to become blurry. He tried to understand, but he couldn't. What was happening? Soon, he realised.

Exhaustion, hunger, thirst.

The combination of these came crashing on Rafael's shoulder like a boulder. Tiredness started to envelop him like an oppressive blanket.

'This has happened before too. I need to be fast,' Rafael thought as his eyes became severe yet so weak.

Unlike before, he wanted to ensure he wasn't caught this time. It was like repeating the same mistake twice, if not more…

As Rafael ran, his vision became blurry to the point that he couldn't see anymore. He started to feel pain for every single muscle he moved. Soon, the realisation hit him…

'No...'

Rafael thought as he collapsed due to exhaustion and fatigue, also losing consciousness in the process.

In the meantime, many changes started to occur at a rapid pace.

The whole dimension started to tilt vertically towards the mysterious black dot.

 As this happened, the 10th commander in his room immediately screamed while giving all his strength to it.

"HANG ON!"

In that instant, the whole realm had tilted itself vertically. It tilted, but the gravity didn't. This should not have been possible…

Unless….

A massive body's gravity was pulling the entirety of the world vertically.

Consequently, Rafael fell.

Rafael's hair ruffled as he went into a free fall towards the mysterious black dot.

The 10th commander, meanwhile, had held on by engraving his claws into the ground. He was barely hanging, and so was the case with other black demons.

A huge shout echoed throughout the domain as all of this was happening.

"Come forth, Judgement of Darkness" 

In an instant, the whole dimension started to tremble severely. The 10th commander's eyes widened in horror as he heard this.

In a second, Darkness started to engulf the skies and the ground. All floors of hell were going through this. Many got into a free fall towards the unknown black dot or saved themselves by holding on to a cliff or something.

As all of this was happening, the whole world had finally...

been engulfed by darkness completely.

Purple lighting shined through the skies, followed by the sounds of thunder. 

As all this was happening, Rafael finally reached the black dot.

Or should he say...

A black hole...
