Chapter 6 : Love-sick Young Master

For their Christmas dinner, all had agreed white as their dress-code color. Chen Li Xue then decided to put on her A-line white dress with a pair of floral heels. She also put on the no-make-up make-up look, as well as a jubilee bracelet watch on her left wrist. A black chain bag completed her appearance for the night.

"Hey ! Little one, you have arrived!", greeted Chu Ning Yi, the general manager of Chu Group. He was only 28 this year, but his family had rushed him to get married very soon.

He once told them the reason that he hadn't gotten married was because he wanted to play enough before settling down. "A marriage is not a house-play. I couldn't choose my family when I was born, but I have the right to choose my own family."

"Merry Christmas everyone", Chen Li Xue said happily.

If someone asked her how she could befriend with these amazing people, she could only reply with a word "fate". Two years ago, she moved to S city after taking the offer from Alpha Corporation. Worldly perspective, people would think that people who were in high caliber would despise people who didn't have the same social status as them However, that was only applied to illiterate rich people. "So Mi Mi, have you found hot guy for our little one?", asked Yue Wan, a beauty doctor. Her father was a politician and her mother was the owner of a beauty clinic.

"Huh..I had to drag her to the party", ZHao Yu Mi complained as she took the seat.

Chen Li Xue smiled and shook her head "I walked there myself."

"After I used my authority as her superior", Zhao Yu Mi explained.

Liu Yan, the owner of the restaurant where they were, took some food and put them on my plate "Don't force her, she is still so young"

Chen Li Xue gestured two thumbs up after listening to Liu Yan "Brother Yan is the best."

Chu Ning Yi grabbed the food and said leisurely, "Don't worry. If our little girl can't find anyone suitable until 30, this brother will take the responsibility."

Zhao Yu Mi who sat beside him immediately hit his head "Who do you think you are ?"

In a penthouse in A country, a man in his navy bathrobe was sitting on his black leather armchair facing the giant floor-to-ceiling window. His tranquility made everyone who saw him felt dominated. Behind him, Fu Shen was standing with some files in his arms.

"These are some documents that you need to sign"

"..."

"And about the thing that you ask for.."

Ye Xiao turned around showing his face as soon as he heard what Fu Shen would tell.

"..She is 26, a finance manager in the main office directly under Ms Zhao. She wasone of the top performers this year. Her name is Chen Li Xue."

Ye Xiao didn't respond to Fu Shen's report. After a moment of silence, he took his phone and dialed to a number. Not taking so long, the other had answered.

"You punk, now you know how to call?", though Ye Xiao didn't put his phone in loudspeaker mode, Fu Shen could still clearly hear whose voice it was.

"I'll do as you wish"

Both Grandpa Ye and Fu Shen were shocked to death. They didn't dare to believe what they heard. What did he mean by I'll do as you wish? Did he mean that he would take care of the Alpha Corporation?

"But.. You are not allowed to intervene in anything that I decide or do"

Ye Xiao paused for a moment.

"Both in the company and my private life."

He deliberately stressed when he mentioned private life.

Listening to this, Fu Shen knew well what made the invisible young master did thing that he avoided so much. Back then, he even gave an ultimatum to the chairman not to act sick if he still wanted him as his grandson. Several weeks ago, he deliberately came late to the party so the chairman couldn't announce him as the heir.

Fu Shen could only sigh. Love sick is really bad. Even the invisible Ye Xiao couldn't stand its influence.

Later at night, he absorbed in his work. As he had decided to go back to his hometown, he needed to take care things in A country as soon as possible. He pinched the bridge of his nose, looking at the clock which pointed at three. He then turned his computer off. However, he didn't go straight to his bed. He turned to the giant floor-to-ceiling window which was behind him.

He had been bothered by the same person for several weeks. He couldn't get her off from his mind. Her desperate look, her queen-like demeanor, her tigress side, her friendly look to her elegance side. He couldn't help but smiled whenever he thought of her.
