Their journey was relatively safe, no zombies attacked them and they were able to reach their destination relatively quick.

"Who goes there. "

They were stopped by some soldiers.

"I'm captain Menes. "

Quickly proving his identity, captain menes had to wait for them to complete the whole procedure.

"Can we check your vehicle. "

This is the most standard procedure, it was to prevent someone from bringing in any sort of weapons or person.

"Who are these."

The soldiers ask, seeing david and the rest in the truck.

"These are survivors we rescued."

"What about the one shaking."

Just as the soldiers were asking about the group, they are interrupted.

"Let them through. "

A voice is heard, as a man with a big beard, black hair, big muscles and wearing a high ranked military uniform.

"Yes sir. "

The soldiers all reply fast, a bit of fear and hatred briefly appear on their faces.

"Get back to your position, you bastards. "

The man quickly shouts at them, and upon hearing this, hatred pass through their eyes but they still obeyed.

"Yes sir. "

Menes looking at this frowns, you can see that he is very displeased with how the man had called the soldiers bastards.

"Please, come in. "

The man says this, but he had already started moving, this shows no respect to the captain.

The group driving the truck inside, notice that something is very wrong.

There are soldiers training and then some people are just sitting, and drinking some kind of drink.

This people's ranks were not high enough to skip the training.

This was not the only weird thing going on, some soldiers were getting beaten by other soldiers without mercy.

The group felt that something was very wrong and want to get to the bottom of it.

As the group was observing the weird things going on, davids body had just finished a very painful and necessary level up.

"Boom! boom! boom! "

Suddenly three loud and hollow sounds are heard from one of the trucks.

"What was that? "

The man asked them, as he proceeds to go near the trucks, the group looks at each other confused.

"Wait, I think it might be the expert. "

One of the remaining soldiers suddenly thinks of david.

"He was still in the truck because of the whole thing. "

The group doesn't know what happened to david, but since none of them could do a thing about it, they forgot him.

The man being curious about the expert that they were talking about, forgot to prepare for any attack.

"Boom! boom! boom! "

The sound is heard again and the group finally figure out the truck where the sound came from.

"David, is that you? "

Stephany suddenly shouts to the truck, while david had not told her his name, when he was with bella, she heard him say his name.

"Who is that? "

Davids voice is heard from the truck, they are relieved because they didn't have to fight any monster.

"David, it's us. "

They reply him, as they proceeded to open the back of the truck, and behold david, covered in blood and some black substance.

David looking at the group doesn't see bella or a lot of the soldiers.

"Where is bella and the rest of the soldiers? "

Even though david was asking this, he had already guessed a bit of what happened.

"David, bella and the other soldiers died in the fight with the zombies. "

Tony tells david, right now he is feeling a lot of guilt, as he had to kill bella when she turned to a zombie.

"Is that so. "

David didn't really have that much of a feeling for bella or the soldiers, but they had helped and sacrificed themselves to protect people like him.

"Enough, follow me inside. "

The man didn't really care for the death of the soldiers or anyone, he had gotten a very high rank with money and connections.

The group is not pleased with the way he just ordered them, especially david.

"Okay, guys let's go. "

The captain seeing them look at the man like that makes them follow him before trouble starts.

Some people would want to fight, but if you consider where you are, you will understand why sometimes you must bow your head.

David, on the account of the captain decides to hold himself back, and not do anything stupid.

The rest are also angry, but on account of the captain also obey.

Following the man, they pass through various places and saw various soldiers as they made their way to the main place.

Just as david was walking, suddenly a quest popped up on his eyes.

[Ding... Side quest issued]

[Survive and Kill all ambushers]

[Punishment: Death]

[Time: 30minutes]

David looks at the quest, and then at the man leading them to meet the leader.

The system doesn't lie, and then there is the fact that I don't really like him and his attitude.

David doesn't know when but he had started acting and feeling different from his usual introverted self.

He was better able to kill and even think of killing as something very normal, just the fact that he wanted to kill because he didn't like someone.

Even with this, david holds his blade tightly and wants to signal the group, but he was not sure of doing it secretly.

David might not know this but what he did was a smart move as they were secretly being watched.

After like a minute, they are led to a door.

"Please enter. "

Immediately the man said this, david sprung into action and attacks him.

With davids strength and the fact that he was just a normal person, the man was quickly cut in half.

"This is an ambush. "

David says this and kicks the door and rushes in the room.

The group was shocked but believing david, they immediately become alert and follow him inside.

Inside the room are more than 15 people with guns pointed at them.

David not even giving them a chance to talk, just attacks them.
