Therd Person POV

With his clothes in disarray, he stood before the door and looked at Jenny, who was smiling with bloodstained teeth.

Then Ash glared intensely at Aegon and Patrick, who appeared bewildered, and said in a cold voice,

"How dare you lay a hand on one of my followers?"

At that moment, Ash unleashed an immense amount of bloodlust that flooded his surroundings. The intensity was far from ordinary.

"Agh!" Aegon vomited.

It was as if someone was choking him he felt like he was about to die right there. Even Patrick, a rank-B awakened, couldn't endure it, but his survival instincts told him to flee. However, he couldn't leave the prince behind. The only thing he could do was eliminate the threat before him.

But the foolish Patrick forgot that the person before him was the first prince, even if an illegitimate one. Still, touching even a hair on him meant death. Overcome by fear, Patrick instinctively drew his sword.

Clang!

Patrick's sword, which nearly sliced Ash's neck, was deflected, resulting only in a minor cut. Blood dripped from Ash's neck due to the small wound Patrick inflicted.

Fortunately, it didn't penetrate further, thanks to Jenny, who had blocked the sword with her katana.

"You scoundrel, how dare you...?"

Jenny unleashed her rank A+ pressure on Patrick, whose face turned pale.

Patrick had no way to explain what he had just done. The amount of killing intent emanating from Ash was enough to make Patrick move out of fear that Ash might kill Aegon then and there.

Unable to justify his actions, Patrick prioritized his master's life. He glanced at Prince Aegon, only to see a child lying on the ground, trembling in fear.

Ash turned and touched his neck, seeing blood from the minor scratch caused by Patrick's sword.

Ash ignored the situation and looked Patrick dead in the eye.

"Do you want to die?"

The words came out of his mouth, sending a shiver down Patrick's spine.

Before Ash could complete his order,

"Jen—"

Jenny swiftly decapitated Patrick without hesitation and coldly said,

"Task complete, my lord."

Ash smiled and said,

"Take a rest you've done enough for today."

"But mas—"

Ash interrupted,

"I have a conversation to include with my little brother."

"Understood, sir."

Jenny disappeared in moments, leaving Ash and Aegon alone.

Ash turned to Aegon with an indifferent look on his face and said,

"I guess we have a long talk to have, little brother."
