{THIRD POV}
"Being nice won't help, son."
"Come on dad, it can," Carlos replied to his father.
"We are still trying your way if it doesn't work, we will have no choice but to go with mine." His dad said.
Carlos opened his mouth to speak and paused when he heard a knock on the door. He said on to the phone, "dad, give me a minute."
"Sure, son. Use all the time you want. After all, time is everything you have in this world." His father joked.
"Dad, come on. There is no need to be overdramatic." Carlos said and answered the person at the door, he almost snapped when the woman walked in but used all of his willpower and asked her slowly, "yes?"
It was his assistant, Karen. She said, "sir, I have asked as you said and the assistant has told me his boss won't be available for the next two weeks. He promised though that as soon as he has an opening, you will be the first one to know."
