The sewer was very wide, and had many branching paths, each connected to the other.

But there were also some paths that were dead ends, where there was no further way for that path, among all of them, some were very dark, where there was no lighting.

There were also some doors that seemed to have a room behind them, but most of the doors were locked, some had nothing but empty rooms.

But there were also some traces of living creatures left in some rooms, as if there were some people who had been there for a while.

Unfortunately, there was no presence of anyone in that place, or at least, until a rat came hurriedly.

Knowing there was important information, Shikamaru immediately followed the rat, which then led Shikamaru to a group of people.

The people looked suspicious, wearing black robes with strange masks, each mask they wore had a smiling expression.

"Is this all?"

"Yes! There are a few more scavengers who will arrive, we can return according to plan after those people appear!"

"Alright!"

Hearing the people's words made Shikamaru curious, and he turned to look around.

It was a dead-end, where there was a staircase leading upwards, seen from the available paths, there were only two ways, either through the path Shikamaru took or the stairs to exit.

Shikamaru had a feeling about it, so he immediately transformed into a cockroach and crawled on the wall.
