Chapter Two

Sun Ji-ho POV ::

After that I woke up again in the same hospital room. Maybe the thing I saw just before I got my memories might be the fusion of two aliens I wished for. Well whatever, since I can use their powers without transforming into those two, but I can only use half of their real powers in non transformed state. After all I do have unlimited transformation time thanks to perk which efficiently process my energy so much that the wasted energy is infinitely close to zero.

I know there will lots of powerful people will be coming to earth in couple of year's. I just hope that I'll reach the state where I'm equally powerfull as Sung Jin-woo. Speaking about him, he's kind brother to me, we live next door to each other.

After my parents death even after I was born in an accident, I was raised in a orphanage. After living there for fifteen years I moved to my parents home which was right next to Jin-woo's home. From time to time I would go to his home everyday to eat dinner, because that was the only time everyone would be present at home. By the time I moved to there his father has been presumed dead, his mother was still okay. But after two years she fell into eternal slumber, after that incident we became like brothers.

As I was musing about the past two people in black suit entered my room. Seeing them I figured they'll be from the Hunter's Association. And to make my point right the first guy started to speak

"Mr. Sun Ji-ho, we know that you have been in a dungeon incident, which happened in a dungeon raid that was supervised by the Association. So, we would like to ask some question of what happened inside the dungeon before you got out of the dungeon."

Straight to the point huh.

"Well, all I remember is getting chased by ten goblins after the boss room was opened and twelve hunters ran out from there. I did get impaled by a sword thanks to ine goblin. But after that everything was a blur to me. That's all I remember."

"Mmmmm... well the part where more goblins were there has been said by the other survivors too. But the thing is Hunter Sun, when we went in to rescue rest of the hunters, we saw you sitting in the middle of piles of goblin corpse."

"What? I do remember killing one goblin. How in the hell did I kill so many?"

"That's the same question we have Hunter Sun. We believe that you have received double awakening."

"But isn't that extremely rare to happen?"

"Yes, we have similar case in next door, it was due to double dungeon. You do know him Hunter Sun."

" What's his name?"

"Sung Jin-woo. He's one of the survivors of that double dungeon. We believe that he's also a double awakened. So to confirm that you are indeed a double awakening case we have bought the magic power detector. So, please be cooperative and place your hand on the crystal to test your magic power."

Hearing him say that I placed my hand on the detector, since I didn't want them to know about my real strength I controlled precise amout of mana and sent it towards the detector. After a minute the Association staff looked at me and said "Sorry for the inconvenience Hunter Sun. It's nit a double awakening. Your magic power is same as before."

"It alright. I was hoping for it. But since we can't do anything about it, just leave it at that." I said with a sad smile.

"Thanks for yor time Hunter Sun." Saying that they left.

Right after they left a nurse came inside with doctor and started to check up on me. After the check up doctor spoke to me.

"Mr. Sun. Your wound on the stomach is healing at a normal rate for an E Rank hunter. So you'll be good to be discharged in three days. Hope you'll have nice stay in the hospital."

"Thank you. Doctor can you tell me how Sung Jin-woo is doing? "

"He's been asleep fir twenty four hours, and his bodily functions are going normally, so he'll wake up in next day or day after tomorrow."

After that they also left, and I was in the room alone again.

Next Day -

General POV ::

We can see a slender teenage girl with gray eyes and brownish-black hair that is worn in a ponytail. She had a blue jacket and brown skirt, with a school backpack, right besides her is another teenage girl with black hair in a bob cut, black eyes, and a beauty mark right under her left eye.

They were walking together towards the hospital. After climbing the stairs they reached the room 305, seeing that her friend was hesitating about entering the teenage girl spoke

"We came all the way here so you can check up on your brother, Jin-Ah. So go inside and check if he's awake."

" But what if he's not awake Songh-Yi?"

"Then, just like yesterday you'll ask the nurse about his condition and leave."

"Mmmhmm"

And she entered the room.

Inside the room is Jin-Ah's brother Jin-woo, he's sitting on the bed, looking in front of him in a dazed state. Seeing him like that made some tears in her eyes, but rubbing off the tears she called out to him

"Brother what are you doing? Your heads not hurt as well is it?" after walking upto the bed she started to scold him "Didn't I tell you to stop getting injured? Do you know how worried I was?"

"... Sorry" ge tried to apologize but she continued "The other's all return fine, so why are you the only one getting injured? Understand? If you get injured one more time I'm gonna throw away studying and start working, so that you could quit being a hunter."

Her ranting was cut short because of Jun-woo

"Jin-Ah, can you see this? " He asked her pointing right in front of him.

"What?" Not understanding what her brother is talking about she asks him.

"Oh... When there's an unread mail in a game, how would you read it?"

Seeing that her brother is still looking in front him she thought his head was seriously hurt, so she asked him "You really didn't hurt your head right?"

After pausing for a bit she said.

"Well, you would have first open the mailbox"

"Open the mailbox" After saying that he sat in daze for a second.

Being impatient because of her brother she asked him.

"What? What is it?"

"Nothing, so how's Ji-ho, didn't see him with you." he tried to change the subject.

"He's next door, he was injured in the same day as you." She said in downcast.

"What happened?" Jin woo asked his sister.

But the reply to his question came from someone else.

"Nothing, a goblin stabbed me in the stomach and i lost quite some blood, but don't worry I killed it and its brethren. How are you Jin woo?" A 5ft 6in tall young man with black hair and blue eyes said.

"I'm fine, Ji-ho" Jin woo replied.

Hearing his voice Jin-Ah turned around with eyes wide and spoke "You are alright?"

"Yep. I'll be discharged day after tomorrow." he said.

Hearing him she stood up and went towards him and hugged him and said "Don't do that to me anymore. I was scared to death."

Patting her head softly he spoke "I won't. Not anymore. Right Jin woo?"

"Yeah, not anymore."

After a heartfelt get together Jin-Ah went outside and with her friend she went to school.

Sun Ji-ho POV ::

After Jin-Ah left I stared at Jin-woo, sensing that I'm looking at him he looked back at me and asked "What?"

"Nothing, just checking you out if you are okay."

"I'm alright."

"Good for you then."

"So what's up, what happened in the dungeon?" He asked me.

"Same old man. D rank dungeon becoming C rank dungeon because increase in number of magical beasts."

"Ahh. that right. Mine was a double dungeon. Why are we the ones always have to be last?"

"Because we are weak. To not happen this to us again we need to get stronger. So work hard man I'm going to sleep."

As I was going to leave he asked me a question.

"So, when are you going to acknowledge that my sister is in love with you?"

Yeah. That's the thing here, Jin-Ah is in love with me but she hasn't admitted it verbally but her actions around me is a proof for that.

"I'll reciprocate he love when I'm able to protect her alone. So until then let's look after ger together alright."

"Alright. But you do know that I'm supportive of this right?"

"I know man. It's just that it won't stick well with my mentality. So we'll have to wait for some time."

After saying that I left to my room which is 306 and he's in 305. Reaching my room I went straight to bed. I'll check out my powers after I'm discharged and reach home.
