It has been two weeks since Rod Huntsinger and Tobias Washington woke up from their comatose state. Rod and Tobias had not had any liquid, such as water, juice, or solid food, for fifteen weeks, and their body was not functioning correctly. Rod and Tobias' doctor recommended that they put something in the body to recover and do their treatment. Rod and Tobias's recuperation would not be painless because they need physical therapy. Rod and Tobias also need to see a mental health doctor, whether it is a psychiatrist, psychologist, or anyone whom they could express their emotions with and would not judge them.

Rod and Tobias forget that just because they have a high level of tolerance to pain, they are humans who can push their bodies beyond their limits and could perish since they are not immortals. Rod and Tobias want to save lives and impact their lives so they do not have to choose a life full of regret, pain, and hatred.

Rod Huntsinger and Tobias would always get visitation from their parents. Alexis Sky Huntsinger, the mother of Rod Huntsinger, would always be in Rod's room because she is afraid of losing her son, like how she lost her husband. Alexis always gets nightmares and worries that her son will perish and she will be alone. Alexis goes to the hospital to ensure her son is eating adequately, exercising, and doing what the doctors recommend.

Tobias Washington's parents also visited him in the hospital. Astra Minerva Washington, whose surname was Saez, and Leandro Arsenio Washington were happy to see their son Tobias alive. Tobias was shocked to see his parents together in the same room after their divorce years ago.

Tobias did not know how to respond to seeing his parents together in the same room. He said, "What do you guys want?"

Astra Minerva Washington and Leandro Arsenio Washington were shocked at how Tobias responded to seeing them just because they were worried about their child. They thought he would never wake up and be declared brain dead.

Alexis Sky Huntsinger, the mother of Rod Huntsinger and Astra Minerva Washington, and Leandro Arsenio Washington, the parents of Tobias Washington, went to the hospital to speak to their child's doctors to know the worst scenario. They wanted to know what they needed to prepare themselves for if Rod and Tobias did not wake up. The doctors said, "You must be prepared to plan funeral arrangements. If they are organ donors, be prepared to donate their organs for the viable ones."

Alexis Sky Huntsinger knows her son Rod Huntsinger is too stubborn to die. Astra Minerva Washington and Leandro Arsenio Washington also know their son, Tobias Washington, is too strong-willed to perish quickly. The doctors were the ones who wanted to give up on Tobias and Rod because, from their experience, their patients who have been comatose longer than three have never regained consciousness.

Rod and Tobias' doctors were impressive because they were strong enough to stay alive. To the doctors, most people are weak-minded, but Rod and Tobias demonstrated they were inaccurate in their thinking. Rod and Tobias's doctors must ensure they eat correctly before beginning physical therapy. The doctors want to ensure Rod and Tobias are taking the correct nutrition their body needs to recover properly. After the doctors see that physical therapy is working, they will send Rod and Tobias to see a mental health doctor, whether a psychiatrist or psychologist, to have them talk about the trauma they have experienced before it gets bad. They could have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) without even knowing.

Rod and Tobias' doctors have created a regimen schedule for them. The first week was basic things Rod and Tobias should be doing, such as walking and eating the correct nutrition food their body needs. The doctors must start Rod and Tobias off easy before allowing them to run again. Rod and Tobias were used to running at least eight miles every other day. The doctors wanted to ensure Rod and Tobias had no broken bones in their legs. If Rod and Tobias had broken bones in their leg, their doctors would need to decide which physical therapy they would need, whether occupational, physical, neurological, rehabilitative, or hand physical therapy, and to operate on them.

Once the doctors can determine whether Rod or Tobias need to be operated on, the next step on the regimen schedule involves them being more active with the body, like doing yoga, stretching, etc. Rod and Tobias' doctors need to confirm if doing the necessary activity causes them pain and if they can tolerate it because if they cannot take the pain, they would need to take medication.

Rod and Tobias' doctors are amazed that they still were sane and had not gone insane. Rod and Tobias, doctors from their experiences, have seen patients have nightmares or night terrors from the experience of getting psychologically and physically tortured. Rod and Tobia's doctors have met patients who went through the same thing but took their own lives because the guilt of surviving the event was too much for them.

The doctors handed over the regimen schedule they had created for Rod and Tobias to Alexis Sky Huntsinger, Astra Minerva Washington, and Leandro Arsenio Washington. The doctors told Alexis Sky Huntsinger, Astra Minerva Washington, and Leandro Arsenio Washington that everything looked good with Rod and Tobias. Rod and Tobias's parents were explicitly told that they had to follow this regimen schedule no matter if they wanted Rod and Tobias to be released from the hospital early to go home. The doctor told the parents, "This will help them recover, and we will have them see a mental health provider to help Rod and Tobias heal emotionally because otherwise, they will be considered apathetic."

At first, Alexis Sky Huntsinger, Rod Huntsinger's mother, did not want to follow instructions because she wanted her son home. Also, Alexis knows if her Rod was functioning correctly again, he would return to his unit to get back to work. As a mother, Alexis just wanted to see her son Rod happy and at home so she could care for him as she did when he was a child. Alexis feels lonely because she lost her husband, Ace Leon Huntsinger, years ago and does not want to go through that pain of loss again but with her child.

Astra Minerva Washington and Leandro Arsenio Washington, the parents of Tobias Washington, also wanted him to go home to recover appropriately. As parents, Astra Minerva Washington and Leandro Arsenio Washington wanted to see Tobias happy. Even though Tobias was an adult, he was still Astra Minerva Washington and Leandro Arsenio Washington's baby who needed to be looked after for what he experienced. Astra Minerva Washington and Leandro Arsenio Washington wanted Tobias to have a career that would make a great income and meet a woman who would have become his wife after getting married and starting a family. Astra Minerva Washington and Leandro Arsenio Washington are happy that Tobias is considered a hero, but almost at the cost of his life.

Rod and Tobias's doctors said, "Their real recovery will be agonizing."
