Finding

Faith told her parents why they had taken her to the doctor's office when she was sixteen; Faith was an independent adult. Faith confessed to her parents that she lost her purity when she was sixteen and felt guilty and ashamed. Faith said, "I could not communicate with you guys because I felt I was disappointing you." Faith shed tears while she talked to her parents.

Calloway and Brooklyn were disappointed that Faith felt she could not communicate with them when she was younger, even though they may have been strict but fair. Calloway and Brooklyn told Faith they would support her when she needed them the most. Faith responded by saying I did not want to alarm you if I had not contracted any diseases or viruses from not having any protection from sleeping with a guy. I became a victim of peer pressure since my friends were fooling around when they turned sixteen. I did not want to feel like an outcast back then.

Faith now feels liberated from her conscience since it is now clean. Faith no longer feels guilty for not telling her parents, Calloway and Brooklyn, about when she lost her innocence for the first time and about why they had to take her to see a doctor. Faith's doctor had to draw blood out of her arms and have Faith urinate in a cup. Faith's doctor had to thoroughly examine her body even though she felt very uncomfortable because she was exposed. Faith preferred a female doctor looking at her body and not a young male doctor.

Faith felt prepared to find and see Tobias Washington because she did not want to be in any more toxic relationship. All the relationships that Faith knew were unhealthy. Faith is abandoning her harmful engagement with Frost, who is still legally her fiancé but who is abusive to her.

Faith was unsure how she would see Tobias again because she never got his residency, but he had her home address, and she felt it was weird he had not yet reached out to her. Faith is excited about thinking of Tobias because she felt love the first moment they met. Faith tells herself that Tobias is nothing like Frost, let alone the men she has liked or dated in the past.

When Faith encountered Tobias a second time, it made Tobias nervous and scared because he froze and panicked. Tobias, anytime he felt he would get rejected, he would run away instead of facing his fear. Tobias met his fear this time, and instead of freaking out, he spoke to Faith even though he kept staring at her engagement ring on her ring finger. Tobias had gained good observation skills from when he served in the military.

The first word that came out of Tobias' mouth was, "I am sorry; I just saw you as the most captivating woman in this room."

Faith replied, "Hey, I have noticed you have been observing me for a while now."

Faith's father, Calloway Summer, knew how abusive Frost Dreamer was towards his daughter. Calloway feels obligated to protect his daughter Faith as a father and defend his wife, Brooklyn, as a husband. At the same time, Calloway does not want to intervene in Faith's love life but feels that every person she is attracted to becomes abusive verbally and sometimes physically. Calloway intends to protect the women in his life as a father and husband at all costs.

But to Calloway's surprise, he is willing to do anything as a father to keep his daughter Faith safe, even hiring proficient assassins or hitmen. As a Christian, Calloway is disgusted with the idea of having blood in his hand. Still, he cannot stand seeing his daughter going in and out of the hospital, not knowing if she will come back alive or even wake up from surgery because of being struck so hard to where she cannot move. Calloway does not want to live with worries about Faith.

Little did Faith and Tobias know that their life would be full of tragedy, pain, and chaos. Now, to explain why Tobias Washington got attacked earlier is because Calloway hired the assassins. As far as they are concerned, the killers do not care if the intended target is an innocent victim since they are getting paid to get their prey. The assassins' group is known as the Red Rain. The Red Rain became known as the Red Rain because they would torture their victims for hours or days, and their clothes would get stained with the victims' blood.

According to legends passed down from generation to generation, the Red Rain has slaughtered entire villages, leaving no survivors alive, meaning all the children, women, and men get killed. Everyone lucky to have survived remembers the sky getting covered in red clouds and rain pouring down, thus coming up with the Red Rain. The Red Rain got their name by cutting their palm with a blade when it rained heavily due to a hurricane passing their city.

While Calloway thoroughly researched the Red Rain, Faith had given her address to Tobias to meet up in a more intimate environment. Faith wanted to be close with Tobias to get to know him better without any distractions or worries. To Tobias's astonishment, he got drugged when he visited Faith at her residency. Faith anesthetized Tobias because she also had trust issues, and her main reason was that she did not want to be in a position of more physical attacks from Frost. Faith researched how to create an untraceable drug and slipped it into Tobias's drink when she offered him a drink.

After anesthetizing Tobias, Faith had to search in Tobias's pants for his wallet to find where he lives. Faith did not have a choice when she drugged Tobias because Frost was getting close to being home and was known to have a bad temper, which would have complicated things for Faith. It would have been hell for Tobias and Faith if Frost saw them together since he is controlling and manipulative. Since Faith was not strong enough, she kept bumping into the wall with Tobias on her shoulders, hitting everything in her way. Faith kept repeating a prayer so nothing terrible would happen to both, which came from the book of Ephesians chapter two, verses eight and nine that says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and not that of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not works, lest anyone should boast." - From New King James Version.

Faith mumbled while Tobias was still unconscious, saying I am sorry. I hope you can forgive me. Faith also said, if you wake up in pain tomorrow, I am trying my best to lift you, but I am bumping into the walls and furniture since I am weak. Tobias sometimes talks while unconscious and replies to Faith, saying I forgive you since I trust you, my love. Faith, in a state of shock, has no words to say because Tobias called her my love. Faith pinched herself to ensure she was not daydreaming of Tobias's words unconscious, but she felt pain on her arm that told her this was real.
