009. The Fast and the Furious

Unlike the typical agent, Black Widow quickly regained her composure after the chaos, her surprise fading as a mischievous smile tugged at her lips.

"This guy is really something."

A voice crackled over her communicator, pulling her back to the moment. "Captain, Viper's heading back to base. Director's orders—you're to return immediately."

"Got it," Black Widow responded, glancing at the bodies strewn across the floor. She turned to Jiang Chen, who had remained impressively calm despite everything. "Let's go."

Jiang Chen nodded, clearly eager to leave the scene behind. Together, they ran through the casino, eventually reaching the underground garage. They stopped in front of a sleek black car.

Black Widow raised an eyebrow. "Ever driven a race car?"

Jiang Chen grinned. He wasn't a professional driver, but he knew his way around fast cars. After all, what man doesn't dream of racing cars and having a beautiful woman by his side? As a young, successful CEO in his previous life, he had definitely taken a few laps around the track.

Black Widow tossed him the keys. "You drive."

Jiang Chen hesitated, confused as to why she wanted him behind the wheel, but he didn't question it. He started the car, but before they even got moving, Black Widow did something that caught him completely off guard—she began undressing in the back seat.

The car sped off, and Jiang Chen's mind raced as he tried to keep his focus on the road. But it was difficult—behind him was one of the world's deadliest spies, undressing without a care.

Focus on driving, focus on driving, he thought, but his eyes kept drifting toward the rearview mirror, catching glimpses of her.

"Eyes on the road," Black Widow said, her voice calm despite her actions. "Lady Luck may be on your side, but she won't help you drive."

Jiang Chen cleared his throat, trying to stay composed. "You know, this is a little distracting for a regular guy like me."

Without missing a beat, Black Widow slid from the back seat to the front, now fully suited in her black tactical gear, a gun in hand.

Before Jiang Chen could react, the car jolted violently. A loud explosion rang out, and when he glanced in the rearview mirror, he saw the wreckage of a vehicle that had been blown to pieces behind them.

What is this? Fast and Furious? Jiang Chen thought, just as a bullet shattered the windshield in front of him.

He turned his head to see a row of black cars closing in on them from behind, their occupants clearly intent on ending the chase.

Black Widow leaned out of the window, gun blazing as she shot at the approaching vehicles.

Jiang Chen slammed on the gas pedal, the car roaring as it accelerated. The cars behind them followed suit, matching their speed.

"Right!" Black Widow shouted.

Jiang Chen jerked the steering wheel to the right, executing a flawless drift that caused one of the pursuing cars to swerve out of control, crashing into the vehicle ahead of it. The resulting explosion lit up the night as sparks flew.

"Front!" Black Widow called out again.

Jiang Chen looked ahead. Five more cars were rapidly approaching, blocking the road. He tightened his grip on the wheel, waited for the perfect moment, and floored the gas pedal. The car sped forward, narrowly squeezing past the blockade.

Just as he was about to congratulate himself on his incredible driving, a car slammed into them from the side, sending their vehicle skidding wildly across the road.

"What the hell?! They can hit us like that?" Jiang Chen shouted in disbelief as the man in black who had rammed them watched, expecting their car to be destroyed. But to his surprise, Jiang Chen's car remained intact, only slightly dented.

"Is this car indestructible or something?" the man muttered in disbelief. "Hit 'em again!"

He gunned the engine, preparing for another collision, but before he could ram into them a second time, a van appeared out of nowhere, crashing into his car and reducing it to scrap metal.

Jiang Chen glanced at the wreckage and sighed in relief. That was close.

But there was no time to relax. More cars were still chasing them.

"Turn right!" Black Widow yelled.

Jiang Chen spun the steering wheel—only to realize, with horror, that it was no longer responding.

"I can't turn! The steering's broken!" he shouted.

Black Widow's eyes widened. "Turn right ahead, and we'll reach S.H.I.E.L.D.!"

Jiang Chen's voice was frantic. "I just told you—the steering's out of order!"
