Chapter 166
They managed to take Patrick out of the house, while Paul was just looking at Sharon with this look that says “I don't know exactly what you're doing”.
Sharon look at him but didn't say anything she knows that Paul is the only person that can read her mind.
“I'm sorry about that” Sharon apologize to Ben one more time.
“I'm cool, I am not bothered, I just want to know that you're safe and it seems that this your husband is very hot headed. I hope he is not beating you?”
“Well I won't say for sure, maybe a few times”.
“I see and it’s very unfortunate that it has to be you” Ben said to Sharon.
“Yea, and that is why am pushing for the divorce.
Early next morning Ben left and Sharon went to work but Patrick went to her office shouting, promising to deal with her if she didn't stay away from that guy.
Sharon send her lawyer to go to Patrick but he refuse to sign the papers. She threatened to arrest him.
“Calm down, this is not how to do it. If you love Sharon that much then you need to calm down and talk to her. Stop shouting at her.
“But she's making me to shout at her, why would a married woman bring in another man into her house?”
“But surely you don’t know the kind of relationship they had, so don’t go about shouting at her”. Paul said.
“But you, what are you doing, can't you talk to her?, I know she listens to you so please talk to her and tell her that she should stop this madness because I’m still her husband”
“Well I will see what I can do, but please stay away from her for now”
Paul went to see Sharon at her office.
“Hey Sharon, how are you today?”
“I'm fine, why are you here in my office?, I hope everything is fine? or wait, if you're here to talk to me about Patrick then don't just waste your time because I’m not ready to listen.”
“Sharon Patrick is your husband, you don't have to disrespect him”
“Are you talking to me about suspect?, were you not there when Patrick humiliate me?, now you come here to talk to me about disrespect. look I've had enough of you guys ok, so I think I will have to ask you to leave my office”
“Sharon just calm down is me Paul” he said knowing that Sharon have this soft spot for him.
“To tell you the truth Paul I’m tired of this marriage with Patrick, so I don't expect you to beg for him.”
“Is fine, I understand you and I know too well what you've gone through but are you ready to go on with this divorce?”
“Yes Paul because you did the same to me and you went for your heart now is my turn I need a divorce so I can go to where my heart beats”
Paul was shocked, so it's true, Sharon loves that guy.
“Do you love him” he ask.
“What are you talking about?” Sharon ask.
“ I mean that guy from last night, do you love him?”
“Why are you asking so that you can go and tell Patrick?”
“You know I can't tell Patrick that, but I want to know from you if you love that guy”.
Sharon look at Paul in the eyes, she knows that Paul understand how she feel.
“Yes, I love him his a good person”. Paul keep quiet for a long time.
“Then you can go for your heart” he told Sharon and she rushed to hug him
“Thank you Paul, thank you for understanding me”
“Is ok” Paul hug her back.
