I Love You, Eden. I'm So Sorry

Eden was completely stunned, both by Troy's words and the fact that he was touching her face in a rather romantic way. Had he intended for this to be a romantic date all along like she suspected? Was he officially going to confess to her tonight?

"You'll die happy?" she squeaked.

He nodded earnestly as he offered her that beautiful half-smile yet again. "Yeah. So by all means, carry on."

Now it was Eden's turn to hide her face in embarrassment. She wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face in it so she didn't have to look at him anymore.

"And for the record," Troy continued. "I think you're wonderful too. You're kind, intelligent, easy to talk to, and I'm always happy when I hear from you. You're still the highlight of my day. That hasn't changed. I always have my phone in my hand desperately hoping it's you when I get a text."
