Moon Cafe

"Sir and miss, welcome to Moon Cafe! Have you decided on what to order?"

Arthur and Scarlet were currently sitting at a two person circular table with Yuki adorably sitting at the edge of the table near the window.

Arthur didn't know any of the items listed on the menu so he waited for Scarlet to order before he copied whatever she ordered.

"There are so many delicious sounding options!" said while looking at the menu in her hand. Not knowing what to choose. There were so many delicious looking pastries and desserts to choose from.

[Let's get one of each! We can share!]

"Ooooh, good idea Yuki! Sir, we will have one of each." Scarlet said as she pointed at the pastries and desserts.

"Cough Cough" Arthur was sipping on water while waiting for Scarlet and Yuki to choose, spat the water out when he heard Scarlet say she wanted one of each.

If he remembered correctly, on the menu there were over forty pastries and desserts…

"Thank You!" Arthur said before taking a napkin from the waiter and cleaning himself.

"It is my pleasure!"

After doing so Arthur realized the waiter didn't react like how he did. In fact, his facial expression had not changed at all as if the absurd order was normal. 

Was Arthur the one who wasn't normal?

"Miss, if you would like, we have an option for bite size servings."

"Does it include all the pastries and desserts?"

"Yes. Miss, shall I write down two-"

"Au-uuu" Yuki roared. [What about Arthur?]

"That's right! Sir, please make it three servings, my friend will also be eating." Scarlet said before pointing at Arthur.

"... Cough yes, my apologies to the sir!" 

Arthur was also stunned, obviously the waiter was talking about him and Scarlet not Yuki, yet Yuki and even Scarlet thought he wasn't included.

Arthur didn't know how to feel, should he be happy that Yuki was being thoughtful or not?

While Arthur, Scarlet, and Yuki waited for their order; on the other side Quan, Ren, Jiang, Leo, and Jeffrey were rummaging through weapons.

"The owner of this shop is quite eccentric!" Quan said not wanting to sound rude. Since he had gone into the shop he felt it was truly different from any blacksmith shops he had seen in the Vampire Kingdom. 

"More like a nut job!" Ren said, correcting his older brother.

Weapons were haphazardly thrown into wooden barrels.

The weapons weren't even organized.

In one barrel there were three swords, two spears, and a whip.

Another barrel had four battle axes with a literal two feet long nail…

And that was just two barrels out of the dozens of barrels in the shop.

At first, he didn't mind.

He lived with Jiang all his life.

He was used to clutter.

The main problem was that the weapons were all damaged… Sure they were of high quality, probably the highest he has ever seen.

But who would want to buy damaged weaponry?

No wonder there weren't any customers other than them.

The only other person was a middle aged man at the counter reading some kind of book.

"Good thing I don't need a wand!" Jiang said with a half broken wand he had just picked out from a barrel before turning around and asking "What about you Leo? Found anything?"

"You three came in here to waste time, but I actually need armor after it was destroyed in our last battle." Leo said bitterly. He was hoping for a good piece of armor to buy.

"Sigh, I was hoping to upgrade my equipment. Sadly, I see nothing of value either."

"Sir Jeffrey, if you don't mind after we're back in the capital we could go together to the Eternal Flame Weapon Shop. Their weapons and armor are slightly priced, but they are worth such a price."

"I would like that." Jeffrey replied before continuing "For now, I'll be going to the restroom so you youngsters can continue looking around. Who knows, you might find a hidden gem haha!"

"Let alone a hidden gem if we find something that's at least usable I'll eat my shoe!" Jiang retorted to which they all laughed, even Quan couldn't help but chuckle a little.

Jeffrey, after chuckling, went to the built in public restroom, opened the door, looked around and spotted a window, he smiled.
