Chapter 17: Clash

All the non combatant evacuated to an emergency bunker a few miles away from the town, while the adventurers and some of the guards who stayed started planning. First they layed out a map and saw they route which the army was coming from however.

Guilo:"They are approximately over 2 thousand soldiers, right now we have only over 8 hundred men." No one liked those odds, it seems their going to need to set traps to lower the number of enemies.

???:"That and their army will be just exiting the Xeniv mountains, which means we will have to them fight right at the entrance of the Arcadia planes, by the time we engage them they'll just be leaving Zenith forest going into the planes."

???:"Damn your saying by the time we intercept them we'll be stuck at the exit of Arcadia planes! We should head out now then."

Luffy:"Don't worry I'll just teleport us all there." Guilo looked at Luffy surprised.

Guilo:"You know space magic!?" he said space magic is even rarer than light and darkness magic, the only thing a person could do is use a teleportation circle and those are extremely expensive to use, so only royalty and select few nobles even get to use them.

Luffy:"Sure I do." A coffee mug appeared in Luffy's hand as he took a sip of it.

Guilo:"How many of us can you teleport?"

Luffy:"I could teleport us to the capital city." said Luffy that they looked at him as if he was crazy.

Luffy:"Anyway just prepare your weapons and materials for the traps and what we're gonna need we have a few days to prepare, I have some ideas we're gonna use." said Luffy they all nodded and continued to plan.

-Two days later-

The entire fighting force of Nachala were behind of Luffy and his party, Dawn and Skipper who were worried along with a few others, especially when they saw a lot of green muscular creatures with tribal tattoos, running towards us some riding on earth boars, a boar with earth mana.

Luffy:"Light it up!" The men nodded and with a few torches lit the ground, which set a ablaze, I placed gasoline all over their half of the field, taking a rather large chunk out of their army. Not only that pit traps dropped the ogres into spike filled holes killing some, while they others stepped on runes which exploded.

Dawn:"Amazing!"

???:"We might just win this!"

Luffy:"Don't let up now! Spell casters fire your spells and fire them off!" Giant stones were flung at the orcs from launchers made of wood, hell even little Snow was throwing giant boulders.

Skipper:"It seems training her paid off." said Skipper who's holding on to his hand all lovey dovey. He couldn't lie he liked it. Dawn looked at this and clenched her chest.

Luffy:"Well yeah she's mid-A-rank now and Dawn is slowly entering AA-rank she just needs a push." said Luffy, he looked up and saw an ogre wearing high quality wizard robes.

Luffy:"..." 'Sus.' With a few chants the wizard summoned a huge amount of water and doused the flames.

Luffy:"Guilo can you deal with that Ogre he's gonna be problematic."

Guilo:"Of course we guild masters aren't AA-ranks for anything." The man wore a high class robe with multiple with multiple different wands and staff floating around.

Guilo:"Gods of the skies and air, give this feeble mortal thy ability to float along skies and soar to higher heights." wind picked up around him as he blasted off towards the orc wizard.

Luffy:"Oi what you guys doing! Get to fighting kick those Ogre bastards ass!" with a roar the front liners ran off to fight, they were still outnumbered but archers and spell casters will take care of most of them.

Guilo:"So tell me how in the hell did you get such high class equipment for you army their at least B or C rank?" said the man as he fired off a spell from his wands.

Ogre Wizard:"I have nothing to say, just die. Darker than dark, the blackest of nights annihilate my opponents!" the fired off a beam of Darkness. The two flew around the field chant after chant trying to get the advantage over each other.

Dawn weaved through opponent after opponent, the battle field was chaotic, she would've never war to be so- *Boooom!!!* A crash caught her off guard, a large Ogre stood there he had bone sword in his hand and he wore high quality armour.

Dawn:'How could ogres get such high quality armour, did they raid another city?! But I haven't heard about such a thing, news like that travels fast.' she thought as a stare down began between the two.

???:"My name is Gauz, I'm a warrior of the mighty dunbaku tribe of ogres, I request a battle between you and mighty warrior." he said as he pointed his blade at Dawn.

Dawn:"As I fellow warrior I Morgiana Laxinia accepts your challenge fellow warrior."

Gauz:"[Power Slash!]" he dashed towards the female who managed to blocked his strike, but [Power Slash] is a skill raises the opponents strength, but even with Gauz's enhanced strength Dawn managed to hold her ground, she shifted her body to the right while jumping and managed to deliver a kick to the ogres face causing him to slide a few feet.

The ogres however didn't let that bother him as he dashed towards her, his blade glowed green, as he tried to attack her again, Dawn prepared to block but.

Gauz:"[Speed Slash!]" he disappears and arrived behind her and brought down his blade but she barely managed to dodge, the attack still grazed her.

Gauz:"Good dodged you shifted your body slightly where you'd lessen the damage you'd received." said the ogre with a smile, Dawn returned a smile as well she dashed towards the green giant.

Snow punched a group of Ogres away with a skill, when another came from behind her but her ears twitched as she dodged a hammer strike from a rather large Ogre.

Snow:"Who are you supposed to be big guy?"

???:"Me name is Bast, puny girl strong! Bast crush puny girl for dunbaku clan glory."

Snow:"Wow this guy isn't very smart." Bast eyes turned red with rage as he let out a thundering roar.

Bast:"YOU CALL BAST STUPID BAST KILL YOU!!!" The ogres club glowed red as he tried smashing Snow again but the girl jumped out of the way and delivered a kick to the green giant's face, said ogre was sent a few feet away but, his rage only grew.

*BAM BAM BAM!!!* The ogre delivered a combo of blows which were all parried by Snow, the girl then delivered a kick to his face followed by a series punches to her opponents gut. But Bast grabbed her arms and kneed her in the gut, the girl was sent flying, when she landed she coughed up blood, her ribs and throat felt as if they were on fire, but she got up and downed a high grade healing potion.

The green giant ran towards Snow at incredible speeds, the girl stood there with her eyes closed soon a small aura began to surround as her hair began to float slightly.

Gast:"[BUSTER SMASH!!!]" he brought down his glowing blue club while Snow at that moment opened her eyes.

Snow:"[GORILLA SMASH!!!]" Her fist collided with the club as a huge shockwave picked up knocking away many ogres and adventurers fighting, soon the club cracked as Snow's fist went right through Bast weapon and right into his face sending him flying.

Snow fell to her knees tired, [Gorilla Smash] is a high level skill that takes alot of the users stamina and it was her first time using it outside of training. Luffy picked her up in a princess carry.

Snow:"Mr.Luffy!" She said surprised a blush forming on her face.

Luffy:"It's okay just take a rest okay." She nodded as Luffy carried her off the battle field.
