Chapter 21

It takes us tremendous effect to get our bearings and to exit the car. I notice a house on the opposite side and yell to everyone to enter there. We do so. Thank goodness as a car approaches. The car stops and five people exit. Two men and three woman. They all look scary. I try to keep my cool. " Damm fuckers. I can't believe they got away. We need to find them" says one of the women. " Lets get out of here first. That explosion would have attracted every damm zombie to this area" says one of the men. They hop back into the car and drive away. As I see that they have gone I communicate my idea. " Let us too get out of here. We will hop into the nearest house that is safe. Let's go." We all run with pure adrenalin running through us. We make it into a house that I choose. Zombie mutants are most likely running amack where we crashed. Lily looks sacred. " What are we going to do now? We have no car to drive. We will need to steal one now. We will have to steal most likely that horrible group of people's car" says Lily in a hysterical tone. " Calm down Lily. We will think of a plan. Let's think it through. Andrew any ideas" Spencer asks. Ideas form in my head. " Lets stay in here for awhile. See if they come back. We need to find out how many of those bandits there are. If they come back to look for us and it's the same people we know three things." " And that is" asks Spencer. I answer him. " First of all. If it is different people we know that there are more of them. Secondly If it is the same people it could mean that they are the assigned group to hunt any unwelcome people. Thirdly it could mean that they are the only bandits in town. Everyone nods. " How long do we wait" asks Tobecca. " Maybe a day or two. We could change locations every six hours but we need to also follow them somehow. Find there base so we can get a car" I say. Spencer offers me a high five and I accept it. " Sounds like a plan to me" says Spencer.

One day later

We are all in the living room. We are discussing the bandits with Tobecca. " What other information did the escapers had to say" asks Lily. " They didn't really want to share to be honest. They were happy to just forget. A man named Drew said that they have a mighty force while others say they only saw the five that we saw. It is all very confusing. Oh yeah. I can't believe I forget. I have a map of this place that will help us." I feel a bit of happiness hearing this news but I don't know which street we are on. " I saw a street sign and it says we are on heatrow street" says Tobecca. She points at the street on the map. " This means that we are close to the measumen. We can go there I am sure . It is only two streets away" says Tobecca. " We don't know if they are also using the museum as a base plus the zombie mutants but it is the best bet we have so I say let's do it" I say. Tobecca smiles. It is nine am. So far there have been no bandits. As if to show that I am lying, the bandits come. We can hear the car engine. The car drives right past this house. I sigh in relieve. No fighting this time I hope. " Okay we should go now" says Spencer. We leave the house in a hurry but make sure that we close the door. We don't want the bandits to know that we have been in houses although they can probably guess anyway. Being on the streets fill me with anxiety. My plan in

my head was to travel at night. We have more success in not being spotted due to the bandits resting. We do make good progress. We are very close to the museum when a car engine sounds fill us with dread. " Into the house quick" shouts Spencer. I hope the house is unlocked. Luckily for us when Lily tries opening the door, it is unlocked. We enter the house and close the door. This feels like a repeat of yesterday's events. The car drives past us. " Lets go in five minutes" I say. Everyone looks at me like I am crazy. " Why? The bandits just drove past us" says Tobecca. " Exactly. That means they won't come back down here for awhile" I say. Spencer nods. " Trust Andrew Tobecca. He is smart. He can figure a way out of this situation. He is the top of his class" says Spencer. Why is Spencer keep complimenting me? He must be reverse psychologically abusing me but I must still be grateful to compliments. " Thanks" I say. After five minutes we leave. We are running. We see the museum. It is massive. The security of this place is fantastic. There is high steel bars. Only bad thing or should I say good thing is that it is unlocked. We enter the massive museum. The first thing we see is the reception area. There are sofas on both sides with magazines on tables. Lily and Tobecca look at each other and sort of scream. Spencer and I look at each other and roll our eyes. " Lets explore shall We? It is an educational trip" I say. Everyone smiles. On the first floor is dinosaurs. We all gasp and try to imagine how we would fight dinosaurs. Zombie mutants are generally easy kill. You shoot them they tend to stay down. Well the normal zombie mutants. Dinosaurs are a whole different story. The second floor is the mammal section. We galp at the cavemen and the giant whale that is quite huge. We decide to set camp here for the night. We can't risk coming into contact with the bandits but it will most likely happen anyway.
