The report has it that the pack of mutated dogs was made up of over six servant-class beasts, and three guard-class mutated dogs, and their leader was a warrior-class mutated dog. They also have a slight control of the earth's elements.
Alex picked this mission because he felt it was the best mission for their training. After all, Mia, Kai, and Wendy were core mages and even without experience could wipe out the pack by just tossing spells at them so he was not too worried about their safety while they trained. But he was still going to accompany them though, just that he would let them fight on their own and only interfere if something unexpected happened.
But there turned out to be a problem with their plan.
"Since you and Zero won't be joining, we are lacking a member," Mia said. They needed five but including her, the twins, and Becky, that was four.
