Bad morning

Melissa held her cheek as she felt a trickle of blood flow on to her arm, she looked at her father's hand and saw her heard one of his antique rings on.

"You slapped me father? Because I said the truth?" Melissa couldn't believe it, she looked at her hand and saw blood on it, this would probably leave a scar. "And you even sliced through my skin? What on earth have I done to deserve such a treatment?" Melissa was fed up by all this and could burst into tears any moment but she had to stay strong and not give up.

"Oh shut up Melissa. You aren't that special and stop talking bullshit, I can prove it to you that I'm a virgin. Gosh, this is is embarrassing" Kara said as she stood up. Melissa's eyes met with that of her mother, but she just smirked at her.

"You should be ashamed of yourself Melissa. You have turned into a prostitute, having sex with rich men just to get out of prison, shame on you" Melissa's mother suddenly spoke as she stood up walking over to her husband to support him.

"Get out of here Melissa, I don't want to see you ever step foot in this house, from now on, you're on your own" Mr king said and Melissa wanted to cry but she didn't. She just stood up as she left the house, she would get her revenge on this family and she meant it.

Standing outside the kings mansion, she contemplated whether to call Quinn, she shouldn't have taken the job in the first place but she didn't have an option. Hauling a cab, she got into it as they drove there, Melissa stared at her face in the mirror.

The cut isn't too noticeable, she just wiped off the blood and covered it up with makeup. Arriving at Quinn's company, she got out as she paid the driver before walking into the company.

"You're twenty minutes late, miss king's" a lady suddenly stood in front of Melissa with a smug look on her face, Melissa wasn't really in the mood for any more drama's this morning, so she tried to ignore them.

"I'm talking to you" the lady said as she grabbed Melissa's arm pulling her back, Melissa took a deep breath, she didn't want to get into any problems on her second day of work.

"Do I by any chance know you? Because I have no idea why you're touching me" Melissa asked, her morning was already going really bad, she didn't need any of this now.

"You don't need to know me, I'm Quinn's assistant and I have power over you" the lady said but Melissa just shrugged off her hand before walking off, she had things to do and this wasn't one of the.

Azrael finally got to his father's house in Germany, immediately he woke up, his phone was ringing and his dad asked him to come back. He wanted to stay with Melissa more but he thought against it.

"Good morning dad" Azrael walked into the house and as usual his father was on the sofa sipping his tea ever so slowly. "Ah, I'm glad you could make.it son, please sit" Donald said as Azrael smiled at his father before sitting down.

"I'm going to go straight to the point, I want you and Melissa, married by the end of this week" Donald continued as Azrael stared at his father like someone who was possessed.

"You've got to be kidding me dad, how do you expect me to do that, she isn't ready for marriage" Azrael said but Donald shook his head placing his cup on the marble tea table placed in the middle of the room.

"I'm not asking if you both are ready, I have my reasons. If you don't marry her, I'll just ask Quinn to do so instead" Donald said as he watched his son's expression and truly, Azrael's eyes darkened at the thought of Quinn being with Melissa.

"Okay, we'll get married but I'll need to talk Melissa about it" Azrael said as his father nodded. Donald found something about Melissa special and he wanted her to get married to someone with in their lineage.

Melissa stretched lazily as she looked at the stack of work she had just finished, she grabbed them as she headed up to Quinn's office, she needed to submit these and get a new stash. As she got into the elevator, she heard snickers as the elevator ascending. Turning, she saw the girl from the this morning with two other girl's were in there.

"Where are you heading?" The one from this morning suddenly moved closer to her as she grabbed Melissa's her, pulling in backwards.

"Fucking let go" Melissa threw the documents in her hand on the floor as she turned around, she slapped the girl as she shoved her to the corner.

"You bitch, who do you think you are to slap me?" The lady said as she stood up, she signalled the two women that were standing behind her, as the elevator dinged, they shoved Melissa out of it.

"Shit" Melissa cursed as she landed face flat on the floor, Melissa wasn't in the mood to correct anyone, she stood up walking over to the water dispenser, she removed it as she walked over to the girl, she was so distracted she didn't see Melissa until the gallon of water was emptied over head.

"Oh my gosh" the girl screamed as water rolled down her body soaking her completely while Melissa just smiled in satisfaction.

"Learn to respect your elder baby" Melissa patted her on the cheek before picking up her documents as she walked away, all her life she had been allowing people step over her but today she was determined to put anyone in their place if they tried to pull any stunts. After submitting the documents in each of the department, she decided to go say hello to Quinn.

But immediately she got to his office, she noticed Quinn hugging the girl she had just humiliated, she was about to back off and run but Quinn's voice stopped her. "How dare you"
