She smiled and pick one from the box before stepping back, Liam is the last to choose, he shrugged and pick the last wooden plaque inside.

"Now check the numbers on your chosen plaque" The referee is still the same, Victor from the last match and he gave Liam a cold glance that send shivers down his spine.

'What's up with this dude? He is scheming something…' Liam thought and checked the number on his Plaque, he saw the number one!

'How good is my luck?!' Kyle look at Liam with a predatory gaze, he will destroy this boy today!

"You will fight those with the same number" Victor instructed.

"Those with number two should go to the other stage, a different referee will supervise your battle" Victor smiled and show them the other arena.

"As for you two, are you ready?" Victor asked and seeing them nod their heads, he shouted, "Start!"

The moment they were asked to start, Kyle unsheathe his sword and lunge at Liam with a diagonal slash!

Liam jumped back and avoided the attack but Kyle attack with a horizontal slash and then a vertical slash!

'Fuck! I was forced to go on the defensive' Liam cursed.

Kyle is relentless in his attack, he continued to assault Liam without letting him have the option to COUNTERATTACK!

'Dammit! He is strong!' Liam cursed inwardly, if he continue to be on the defensive, the injuries will pile up on him which will result in him collapsing thereby losing the fight!

'I have to come up with something' Liam thought as he monitored Kyle's movement closely While dodging.

Kyle is grinning like a demon and horizontally slash at Liam!

'Now!' Liam dodged the attack by stepping back but instead of retreating, he step forward and use his foot to step on Kyle's foot which limits Kyle movement.
