Katherine redied herself. She can feel that there's something about Drake that she can't figure out as of the moment. The way he looked at her and studied her every move while she was busy fighting with his friends.

"You only used your kickboxing techniques with them." Drake said giving a side glance to his friends.

"Now, I want you to use everything you've learned from the past years of training with them." Drake said looking at Katherine's friends.

"Woah! Is he really challenging her?" Amber asked.

"Yeah. I think Drake is starting to make her ready for the upcoming big event. We only have eight days left and as what you have seen a while ago, the Sanguinarians are making their moves now. And for the Elder letting us stay in his house, I'm sure, he's getting everything ready for his heir's protection." Athan said.

"You can't blame Paps, she's the only one left for him. When her parents died, we thought that the Elder will not overcome the loneliness he felt losing his only son and his beloved daughter-in-law. It was really a surprised that one day, he was laughing with his granddaughter on his lap." Dawn said.

"Yeah, we knew that part. Uncle Lazarus told us about that." Alaric said.

"So, how did you end up with the Prince of Raeb?" Thana asked.

"Well, we grew up at the same time. We studied at the same school. We trained at the same field and the rest is history." Blade answer.

"How about you?" Kieran asked.

"Well, Amber was with her since she lost her parents. The rest of us were scouted from the school were the two of them were studying. From then, the four of us were trained by the Elder himself." Amdis said.

"Wow, the Elder himself trained you? That's the reason why you were like that a while ago. Slashing here, slashing there." Alaric said with amazement in his eyes remembering how the girls fight the Sanguinarians not having a hard time.

"I think we better continue our chitchats later, I don't want to miss the chance of watching these two." Amber said looking at Drake and Katherine who are positioning themselves into a fight.

"Don't use the same techniques again. It will only send you to the floor just like what you did to them." Drake said making his friends rolled his eyes and the girls giggled.

"Okay." And without a warning Katherine gave a side kick followed by a diagonal kick then, a down round kick to Drake in which he only dodged easily leaving Amber, Dawn, Thana, and Amdis opened their mouths widely.

"Woah, that's awesome." Dawn said.

"That's our Prince." Athan said proudly.

"It's my turn now." Drake said giving a warning to Katherine and before she could even say a word or react, she was sent to the floor holding her stomach.

"Be gentle with her!" Thana said using the mind link but Drake didn't care.

"Someone said a while ago not to use my power against her but what are you doing right now?" Athan said using also the mind link but he got nothing from his friend. Drake offered a hand to Katherine but to his surprise, he was lifted and thrown to the ground. It was then, Athan, Alaric, Blade, and Kieran's turn to be in awe.

"This will lead to something." Amber said.

"Yeah, I think, we better stop them before..." Blade wasn't able to finish his words because the two have positioned again themselves before attacking each other.

Katherine gave a front kick, front push kick, and roundhouse kick to Drake simultaneously. Drake gave a side kick, an axe kick, and a crescent kick to Katherine. They exchanged uppercut punches, straight punches, reverse punches, and scissor punches.

"Am I watching an action movie here?" Dawn asked not removing her eyes on the two.

"They are really, really..." Kieran said.

"The King and Queen of Vampires." Thana said in which all of them nodded at once.

The fight continued until like forever. Both are breathing heavily and laid their tired bodies on the floor.

"I think you're ready." Drake said.

"For what?" Katherine asked curiously. Drake wanted to spank himself.

"Nothing. Let's go. Let's continue this tomorrow." Drake said and stood up. He offered his hand to Katherine which she accepted. When she was about to stand on herself, she felt a little dizzy.

"Hey, are you okay?" Drake asked.

"Yeah, maybe I'm just tired." Katherine said and looked at Drake who was surprised on the color of Katherine's eyes.

"Is there a problem?" Katherine asked when Drake was still looking at her.

"Oh no, nothing. Can you walk now?" Drake asked.

"Yeah." Katherine answered.

"What happened?" Amber asked using the mind link.

"Her eyes changed in color." Drake answered thru the mind link.

"What does it mean?" Dawn asked.

"It means that she will undergo her transformation before her 21st birthday." Athan answered.

"What do we do now?" Dawn asked.

"The Elder should know about this. He should tell Katherine everything before it happens." Alaric said. Suddenly, Katherine grips her head.

"Hey, what's happening?" Amber asked worriedly.

Katherine looks at her and then, she saw what was Drake was talking. They all saw her golden eyes.

"My head aches and it's killing me. Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!" Katherine screams before she loss her consciousness.
