Forager of Blood

Across centuries I have searched

For a love so true and pure

Bound in blood and sacrifice

Yet my yearning must endure

War and strife have I seen

Men have come to blows

For lesser things than love and beauty

This madness I abhor

And I they call a vampire

A forager of blood

But it is beauty that I seek

My heart for love to flood

"Where the hell is she!?" Serafino shouted with worries all over his face. They've searched for Katherine everywhere but they can't find her.

Drake tried to smell her scent but his hunch told him that something or someone might be blocking her. Suddenly, they heard a loud howl.

"Hunter!" They all shouted at once and they all vanished into thin air to look for Hunter.

"Hunter!?" Drake shouted and in an instant, the wolf was infront of them in his normal state.

"What happened buddy? Where's Katherine?" Drake asked stroking his fur. Hunter howled again looking at the direction where he came.

"Okay buddy, lead us to her." Drake said.

Guys, let's go." Drake said looking at his friends.

"I'm coming." Serafino said.

"No, stay here." Drake said that made the rest looked at him.

"Sorry, Milord. Please stay here. We will find Katherine and bring her back here safe and sound." Drake said.

"But I want to see my granddaughter." Serafino said.

"Milord, let's stay here and wait for them. It is not wise to leave the place without anyone here protecting our clan. We don't know what our enemies are thinking. If they find out that you're not here, they might do something to harm the others." Vladamir said hoping that Serafino will listen to him.

"Don't worry Paps, we will be here with Katherine before you knew it, okay?" Amber said putting a smile on her face.

"Okay, please bring her back in one piece." Serafino said.

"Let's go, buddy." Drake said then they all vanished into thin air.

Katherine heard a knock from her door. "Come in." She said and the girl a while ago walked in with a tray of food on her hand.

"Hey, are you alright?" Katherine asked and the girl nodded.

"I'm Katherine, what's yours?" Katherine asked. The girl looked around the room.

"Don't worry, no one is in here." Katherine said with a smile on her face.

"Celeste." The girl answered.

"Nice name." Katherine said.

"Thank you." Celeste said.

"Thank you for saving me a while ago." Celeste continued making Katherine smiled.

"Your strong but why are you staying here? I saw how did you threw Master a while ago. You can escape here without anyone noticing you." Celeste said.

"I can't. At first, I just want to get information about them but..." Katherine wasn't able to finish her words because Celeste spoke.

"Because of us?" Celeste asked and Katherine nodded.

"You don't have to worry about us. We're bound to serve them for the rest of our lives." Celeste said and Katherine saw her teary eyes.

"Why?" Katherine asked.

"Because we are their slaves. We are their food. We are..." Celeste started to sob making Katherine heart ached.

"I will get you out of here." Katherine said making the girl looked at her.

"You can't." Celeste said making Katherine smiled.

"Just trust me, okay?" Katherine said and Celeste nodded.

They both looked at the door when it suddenly opened and Travis entered.

"Get out!" He shouted and Celeste nervously went out.

"What do you want?" Katherine asked with an angry voice.

"I want you." Travis said walking towards her.

"Oh come on, you already knew that you can't have me that easy." Katherine said.

"Yeah, I knew that's why we're having a fight." Travis said sitting on the couch.

"What's the catch?" Katherine asked making Travis smirked.

"Name it and you will have it." Travis said.

"Free all your slaves." Katherine said.

"Okay." Travis said making Katherine furrowed her forehead.

"I will set them free if you can win against us. You will fight my men, four to be exact. They are the best fighters and they will make you beg for your life." Travis said trying to see if Katherine will feel fear but to his dismay, he saw her smile.

"F__k!" Travis said to himself.

"I hope your an honorable vampire that will be true to his words." Katherine said.

"Don't worry, I am." Travis said.

"I'll give you an hour to prepare." With that, Travis went out.

"You don't have to do this. You can't win against them." Celeste said with a worried tone.

"Relax, Cel. I told you to trust me. Don't worry, later, you will all be free." Katherine said.

"But...Ouch!" Celeste said after Katherine pinched her nose.

"Trust me, okay?" Katherine said and Celeste nodded.

"I want you to do something for me." Katherine said making Celeste furrowed her forehead. Katherine winked and then whispered something to Celeste's ear.

Travis' clan were gathered around an open field. Katherine saw Celeste and she nodded, that means she have done what Katherine have asked her to do. Katherine stood up at the center of the field waiting for her opponents. When the crowd gets wild, Katherine knew they are coming.

"Baby?" Katherine furrowed her forehead hearing a familiar voice.

"Drake?" She asked.

"Yes, baby. Are you alright?" Drake asked.

"Yes, I'm still sexy and hot." Katherine answered making Drake smiled.

"What is happening there? We started to surround the area but we heard noises." Drake said.

"Can they hear us?" Katherine said looking around.

"No, they can't." Drake answered.

"Good. Listen carefully. There are slaves here and I want you, by the way, who's with you?" Katherine asked.

"The rest of the gang." Drake answered making Katherine smiled.

"Okay! Here's the plan." Katherine said.

"Are you ready?" Travis asked.

"Yeah." Katherine said faking her yawn.

"You will fight them one by one..." Travis said but was interrupted by Katherine.

"Why don't you let them fight me all at once." Katherine said making Travis smirked.

"You're going to regret this." Travis said.

"Just be true to your word." Katherine said and prepared herself because Travis signaled his men to attack her.

"Have you taken them all?" Drake asked talking to Athan and Alaric.

"Yes, they are on their way with the girls." Athan said.

"Good, are Kieran and Blade in position?" Drake asked.

"Aye aye captain!" Alaric said.

"Where's Hunter?" Drake said making the three of them looked around.

"We thought he's with you." Athan said.

"No, he followed you a while ago." Drake said.

"Uh-oh." Alaric said pointing the wolf sitting beside a man in the crowd.

"He's harmless for now." Drake said hoping that Hunter will not shift because that will put them in chaos.

Drake suddenly stood up when he saw the four muscular men running towards Katherine.

"Hey, relax. You knew she can handle them." Athan said patting Drake's shoulders.

"I knew that but I don't want to see them touching her." Drake said with an angry tone.

"We have a possessive mate here." Alaric said smiling.

"Maybe we should go to our respective position. This fight will end soon." Athan said when he saw how Katherine sent the four men to the floor.

"Drake, don't do anything stupid." Alaric warned his friend.

"I'll try." Drake said but immediately disappeared infront of them.

"What a stubborn king-to-be!" Athan said shaking his head.

"Let's go." Alaric said then, they both disappeared too.
