Vinod collapsed straight to the floor, as soon as he saw Vikram. He had been under incredible stress the past few days, without much to eat, and healing the loss of limbs. On top of that, their father seemed nearly mad before he went in for the surgery, their mother did not look like she's normal either despite the calm, and Virat, who loved running around the most might never be able to walk again.
As much as the family depended on Vikram, and adored Virat, it is Vinod who usually kept it all together coaxing their stubborn family, or making a little sacrifice here and there.
Vikram hugged his brother, who was crying like there's no tomorrow in his arms, patting his back.
