Future
Vikram returned to the Victory village as soon as the scientists were brought in.
They were all given enough time to settle down while Vikram completed his mission of the day.
Right now, there are only two types of beasts in the city, the lions and the crocodiles. Only, the crocodiles have adapted well to the waterways otherwise as well, and this hot environment, despite being arid, is right up their alley as long as they stay in the drainage pipes.
Worse part is these drainage pipes are connected to wetland style recycling areas, where the crocs could live all too happily.
When the sun itself would have been alone to blow them up, they stayed in the tunnels, where shade is just the most comfortable style of room temperature.
By the time the sun set, they could reach any part of the city.
The affluent families of the city rushed to put iron grates on their drainage areas.
