A deep frown emerged on her face and she turned around to leave, but this force, which she had no idea where it came from, held her in place, preventing her from taking a step forward.
"What the—" She struggled to free herself, but it was to no avail.
She turned her head back and tried to amble back to the sword rack, and, surprising to her, she was able to.
But when she tries to walk away, she finds herself unable to.
"Hmmm..." Her eyes narrowed into a thin line as she approached the wall.
Could it be invisible?
She asked herself, knowing that in this world, socerers could hide things from the human eyes with invisble spells.
She placed her hand on the wall, and knowing a way in which she could try and break the spell, she shut her eyes and slowly began to mutter words not understandable.
"SEVIET, ES POSVLA VISBLETA MIENTIVASSS."
A faint smoke suddenly curled up around a particular part of the wall and she opened her eyes, which had turned completely golden, to see a white door handle hanging on the wall a bit far from her.
"Oh, my lord!" She exclaimed, still unable to believe the fact that she could use magic.
Her eyes fluttered rapidly in excitement, and the urge to try out more things overwhelmed her, but knowing that she had more important things to do, she shook the excitement away and walked towards the door handle.
She turned it, and before her eyes, the wall behind the sword rack moved and slowly opened.
Her lashes flickered, having not expected that both the door and handle were hidden behind the sword rack.
She actually thought that the door was against the wall, where she had heard the voice coming from the first time.
A slight breath exited her nose and she strolled towards the door.
She looked inside, and her heart skipped a beat on seeing a passageway that was encompassed by darkness.
Is she scared to go down there? Yes, she definitely is.
A grimace formed on her face, and knowing that she should take a torch at least, she strode towards the iron stand where the fist-sized and tall candlelight was situated.
She pulled it off and sparked the fire on, then walked back to the door and took a long deep breath.
'There can't be anything bad down there, right?' She asked herself, and with all the courage she could muster up, she stepped inside, ignoring the fact that she was barefoot.
The door instantly shut behind her, causing her to flinch in fear.
Her heart thumped heavily within her and she quickly sparked the candlelight which had blown off, on.
She gazed at the stairs that led down to somewhere unknown and gulped.
One step down the stairs, she took and heavily breathed to calm herself down.
She was quite afraid of the dark and quiet places, so this was really creepy.
Her front teeth tightly bit onto her lower lips and unintentionally ended up cutting her flesh.
"Ssss." She hissed in a bit of pain and wiped away the blood.
She continued downstairs, and after she had walked at least two flights of stairs, she finally arrived at the bottom, where there was yet another iron door that she needed to open before she could make her way inside.
Her gray eyes glanced at the chain that was used to lock it, and with her iris instantly turning golden, she burst the chain into pieces and pushed the door open.
