I hate fighting and traveling just to fight someone. But yeah I get it, life isn't always cupcakes and rainbows.
Finishing a great meal does keep your mind off of things but I just have had so many things roaming through my mind. I mean what if we don't defeat Alex? What will happen? Or if we do defeat Alex then what will happen? I won't be able to see Theo, Luna and Lucas again?
Instead of worrying I went to go feed Drago. Drago is still a baby but with Twilight feeding Drago the growth every once a day, Drago is like an adult that seems like I've known for years.
"Hey bud," I say placing a bowl of food in front of him, "more traveling and fighting, huh?"
Drago nodded.
"Now you get all the nutrients you need, 'cause this is going to be a long day."
As I head back to the others, I accidently bumped into Theo.
"Sorry." He said.
"It's fine." I said in a low tone.
"Gabby is everything ok?"
"Yeah, um everything's fine. I'm just really exhausted." I say avoiding eye contact.
"Even though I've only known you in a couple of weeks, I can sense when something is eating you. So tell me, what's wrong?" He said trying to get me to look at him.
"I'm just worried that if we don't defeat Alex, what's going to happen. Or if we do then I might not see you, Luna or Lucas again." I cried.
"Hey," Theo pulled me into his arms, "one thing for sure, Alex will be defeated, but that doesn't mean you're going to loose the three of us. We will always be with you. I will always be with you. And I know you will do the same for us."
I know he's right, but I feel as if something bad is going to happen. I hugged him tighter not wanting to let go.
"Now are you ready to kick some butt?" Theo asked.
"Ya. I'm ready." I replied.
We head back to the others who are ready packed and ready to go.
Without a word we head out into the silent sky.
After hours of traveling, night began to fall and stars started to appear upon the night.
"We should start searching for a spot to rest." Twilight suggested.
The rest of us followed as she finds a cave.
"Are you sure it's safe? No hungry wolves right?" Luna asked nervously.
"No you're pretty much meat." Jason chuckled.
"Shut up, Jason!" Luna punched him in the arm as they both start heading into the cave.
"Guards, go find some wood so that we can build a fire." Twilight ordered.
They nodded.
While the guards looked for wood, the rest of us settled in and waited.
I sat on the edge of the cave. The landscape was so beautiful, stars were twinkling in the dark night, wolves howled and the wind whistled.
"Hey, are you alright?" Noah asked from behind.
"Yeah I'm fine. Just look at this landscape." I said.
"I know, it's beautiful."
Noah sat beside me and we sat there in silence..
"Noah, did you wanted to be separated?"
"Of course not! If I would, I wouldn't have been searching for days looking for you and Isabella... Did you wanted to be separated?"
"I hardly knew I had siblings. I thought I was always alone... But if I did knew I would've done the same."
"Anyways, how have you been all these years? Were you alright being alone?"
"Noah it was horrible! You don't know what it was like without food, a family to hold on to and people bullying you all the time because I wore teared up clothing and live in a SHACK HOUSE FULL OF CRAP!"
"Hey, calm down. Now you met Theo, Lucas and Luna, right? And from my prospective, they will always have your back. Also now you have me and Isabella."
"Yeah I guess I'm kinda grateful for this."
"I'm glad you are. Also between you and me, that Theo guy of yours, he seems like he really likes you." Noah winked at me and got up leaving me.
"Maybe...maybe I do too." I said to myself.
