14. spoopy.

Looking at my communicator we head outside of the town, there was a large graveyard in the area I hadn't been to but I had looked it up on my communicator hoping there would be some good plants here for stella.

The whole place gave off an eerie feel even in the middle of the day.

"Seems we are in luck." I tell the girls.

Various graves had white flowers on them and I could make out quite a few large pure white trees with fruits hanging off them some where empty however.

"I remember this place, I used to live here before I was caught." Stella says looking around.

"Oh? How curious." i mentally order the matrix to scan.

[Haunted ground Acquired.]

[Spirit rich energy unlocked.]

Hmm? I'll look at that in a bit.

"Well let's get going." I walk over towards the first tree and touch it.

In front of the eyes of the girls the pure white tree vanishes completely leaving an empty hole in the ground.

I move around touching the trees and flowers and transplanting them. I also find a couple of poisonous plants which I scanned with my phone hoping for some good stuff. Any plant I came across I would scan as I didn't want to miss anything valuable. I see no reason not to throw in some poison plants as I plan to make another area for stuff that is inedible. No need for accidents.

I'm actually quite happy having gotten Stella, she didnt need food, she didn't need clothes, she didnt need sleep, just some of my life force which if I'm not wrong I'll be able to snatch from enemies myself. I even got free techniques because the assistant at the store was fucking terrified of her. Even if she wanted to eat, her food was just left around and I could snatch up full grow trees and hundreds of flowers just by going for a fucking walk through a graveyard, it didn't even need to be night!

The most money efficient fighter I've ever heard of. I don't even know if she can get dirty and she probably doesn't even use the bathroom. Hell I barely had to provide anything.

A couple of hours wandering around the graveyard and I had snatched up everything it had to offer. I wonder if this counts as grave robbing?

Shame none of this was worth anything.

"Well that looks like everything." I clean off my hands on my pants and look around, ignoring the various spots where giant holes were. "We should probably get out of here now. Kind of looks like we destroyed this place and I don't want to get into trouble." I dont know if we would get in trouble but I would rather not chance it. "Let's head to the forest first and then we can go look at my new area."

The two girls seemed rather eager to see my new area I mentioned.

Once we got back to the area we usually hide in I grabbed the two and we appeared in a new internal area.

This place was incredibly dark, however tens of pure white trees which were glowing lit the area up. The various white flowers were planted in pitch black dirt around the trees making it look rather mystifying.

"It feels nice here." Stella says looking around the soul fruit orchard.

I spot the poisonous plants and mushrooms in a corner all grouped up, most of them looked rather dangerous all covered in nasty looking spikes and burrs. Not a single item over there was edible, all poisonous.

All this place was missing was some small floating lights to make it looks like a fairytale area. I loved the glowing white trees and flowers in the pitch black setting, it truly looked like something from a fantasy story.

A small portal opened up nearby under my command this lead to the home area. "Anytime you are hungry just go grab some of the fruits, this portal will stay here from now on." I explain as we walk through. "Going to plant the lava fruit and then we can look at those manuals of yours and see what kind of goodies we got."

I get a quickl chilly hug from the ghost girl. "Thank you Darling." She says happily smiling at me. I just pat her head and grin.

Back in the house I toss lunch in the microwave before grabbing the lava fruit and my trowel and heading out to the area where I planted my other fruit trees. There are already little sprouts popping up which is promising.

A quick scoop of dirt and I drop the lava fruit in before covering it up. Planting things here was incredibly easy as you could just bury a fruit and in a couple months you would have a new plant.

"Maybe I'll make some more of the soul fruit trees." I tap my chin, seriously those trees are cool. But that could just be me.

Heading back inside I sit down at the table to enjoy lunch with Amber as Stella floats into my lap with a giggle. Amber looks envious.

"You can sit on my lap later when in doing my studying." I get an excited head nod from her as she goes back to scarfing her food down.

After lunch I grab the manuals we had gotten and begin browsing while the girls look on in interest.

"E-Rank Leech Life, draw life force from an enemy, E-Rank Fear, your body releases an ominous feel causing your opponent panic, E-rank Bind, bind your opponent in place with a shadow." These are good and the best part was the were free just the leech life alone was something that I wanted. Bind was also a good move, something to lock people in place? Great for ambushes and sneak attacks.

Setting those down I pick up the D-Rank manuals excited for what surprises those have for me.
