Chapter 16: First Round

"Hey, why are you going to work so early? it's still 6:00" said Martha on the breakfast table

"Well Mr Wolcott wanted me to be at work at 7:00 straight for some reason," said Alex

"I really don't why you did that I mean you were the CEO's assistant why are you did you decide to work for his son?" asked George

"Well we made a deal and don't worry it's only temporary then things will be back to normal in a month," said Alex, little did she know

"Well, I will be going goodbye dad goodbye Martha"

"Bye sweetheart be careful"

Instantly after Alexa got to the company she went to Thomas's office and oh lord it was a pigsty

"What on earth happened here?" then she saw a paper on the desk and she read it said

'Good morning Miss Faucette, Yesterday night me and some of my friends were playing video games, I know that it's a little messy.....

"A little ? dude you and your friends turned this place into a pigsty"

.....I ask you...wait a minute why do I have to ask I am your boss now I order you to clean my office before I arrive, And because I have some important files and reports in my office the cleaners mustn't enter my office, so basically clean my office alone Your Boss Thomas Wolcott'

"Alright here goes nothing"

"Alex I came here to help you" said Adrienne arriving a half-hour later than Alexandra "No no no look there is a camera he thought of everything, so you must go"

While Alexandra was cleaning Thomas was in a cafe drinking a latte slowly with a smile on his office"

"The bill please," said Thomas to a waiter

"Here sir"

"There you go," said Thomas giving him the money and went to his car

And on the other hand, Alexa was in speed force cleaning every inch of the office

"Good morning Mr Wolcott"

"Good morning Miss Faucette"

"You don't have to wait for me to arrive in front of the elevator. My father might have liked this drama but I don't"

"Very well sir," said Alexandra calmly

Thomas was so eager to go to his office to see it's not clean and fire her immediately but when he entered he saw it was spotless

"H-how?"

"Well Mr Wolcott, did I clean your office to your liking?"

Thomas didn't know what to say

"Well then excuse me" said Alexandra then went to her desk and did a victory dance in her mind while on the other handThomas was about to lose his mind

Alexandra was working on her desk when suddenly her telephone ringed(You know the ones the people in the companies)

"Yes Mr Wolcott?" answered Alexa

"Could you bring me coffee and a mocha and a glass of water?"

"Of course"

Thomas checked the list that was given to him by Adrienne and checked the first one Then he heard knocking

"Come in"

"Sir I brought what you asked for," said Alex entering the office with a tray on her hands and put it on Thomas's table in front of him

"Hmmm which one is the coffee and which is the mocha?" asked Thomas

"This the coffee and this one it the mocha," said Alexa pointing at them

"What? the mocha was supposed to be in the coffee's place"

"What?!" asked Alexa wondering if this was really happening

"Go reverse their places for now," said Thomas after that he drank the water and made a disgusted face

"Please change the water too"

"What's wrong with the water?" asked Alexandra

"Are you going against your orders?"

"Of course not"

"Good"

"I just want to know what is wrong with the water so I can fix it"

"Its not room temperature"

Alexandra inhaled deeply trying to keep her cool

"Well did you find anything wrong with the tray?" said Alexandra sarcastically

"Hmmmmm no it's clean you can bring the coffee, late and water on this"

"Thank you

There was a serious sarcastic in her voice then left with the tray on her hand

"Mr. Wolcott I brought what you asked for" said Alexandra putting the tray in on Thomas's desk

Before Thomas could say anything Alexandra started to explain "This Mr. Wolcott is the latte and this is the mocha and this is the water you asked for"

"Very well you can go now.....wait I almost forgot here..you see these folders? They are the bank reports of the company, open your hands and hold them," said Thomas and put some of the folders on her hands

"Mr. Wolcott what do you want me to do to them?" said Alex kinda struggling to hold the folders because they were so heavy

"I want you to put them in an alphabetical order, and copy them then put the calculations from smallest to biggest no wait biggest to smallest maybe-"

"Mr. Wolcott!" said Alexandra trying her hardest to not drop the folders

"Oh sorry I know it's heavy I will decide right away....make it biggest to smallest because it's always better that away. oh and come back to take others"

As soon as Alexandra put the second sack of folders on her desk Thomas came and gave her another extra folder

"You forgot this Miss Faucette, I will be going to a meeting now when I come back I want them to be done"

Alex stood up with her notebook in her hand

"What are you doing?" asked Thomas"I will come with you to the meeting"

"Why is that?"

"Because I have never missed a single meeting"

"I know, but I gave a job to do"

"But-"

"Please no buts do you know how important times is for me....look now l am a minute and a half late, now the time is 9:01 and I will come back at 10:00 so I want them done at that time"

"At 10:00?!"

"Yes now bye bye," said Thomas then left the with the hugest smile on his face he was holding back to not dance out of joy

While Alexandra was like"One hour huh? , let's do this"
