Thunder cracking and the wind howling like a mad man, however, the incessant beating of her heart somehow drowns the noise of the heavy outpour of rain. A storm has come in her hometown. No sane person can be seen outside of the buildings nor would they be willing to be caught outside as the wind battered anything that stands in its way. She fears not the weather though but rather the men running after her. There were about four of them, each holding a dark gleam in their eyes. She felt cold but she knows she has to run fast or else they would catch up to her and who knows what might happen next.
As she hides behind an alley panting heavily, watching her pursuers, she couldn't help but wonder why this is happening to her. What wrong could she have done to deserve such an ill fate? Amidst her pondering the men noticed her. She dragged herself away from the darkened alley. Fate however was not on her side for when she turned around the corner she was cut off by a man pointing a gun at her.
Bang!!!
The poor girl collapsed on the ground. She couldn't move a muscle even if she wanted to. There was a searing pain on her left leg. She saw she was bleeding and she started panicking. Never in her life has she felt so scared. She knew they were approaching her but she could no longer contain herself as tears mixed with rain started running down her cheek. That's when she knew her time's up.
The man who just shot her stood before her. She couldn't look up to face him. "Please..... don't kill me," the only words that came out of her mouth as she continued sobbing. No words followed as the man pointed the gun above her head. Everything turned black as the ground was painted red.
