I was supposed to be The Gamer but the author forgot it midway.

Death, such an arbitrary concept. What could it be? I wonder? Is it the death of the body or the death of the soul? "Sigh~..., Even after death, I cannot understand it." { Ding! Congratulations! Dragon Beat

Masato was refining his bloodline one day when it all happened.

He was sitting on a cliff, silently meditating and refining his bloodline, when he felt something boiling within his body, like an erupting volcano, attempting to break free from the predestined shackles.

'This…'

He frowned before forming a smirk on his face. Finally! He was finally approaching the barrier he needed to breach in order for his bloodline to progress to the next stage.

It's been nearly a decade since the last chapter. He had already maxed out all of his skills, including the blacksmithing he had learned previously—well, maybe not all of them, as his Time Laws had only reached 20.

He had been trying to refine his bloodline since he left the world of Bleach, but it had been futile. He wondered if he was missing something, but since he didn't know what it was, he just kept following the refining manual he had.

After a decade, he had finally arrived at a point where he could see some results.

Masato closed his eyes again after a brief moment of calm and resumed his reading of the manual. After a while, the same sensation as if a sleeping volcano returned.

This time, he didn't pause and continued to follow the instructions.

An earthquake struck, followed by a dense bloody red aura rising from his body and engulfing everything around him. It appeared as if millions of people had been slaughtered, resulting in a dense fog of blood.

Masato took a deep breath, and his entire body relaxed, as if all of his tense muscles had relaxed. As if god had descended on the mortal plane, a dense aura began to emanate from his body and rose into the sky like a pillar.

His skin, like a lizard's, began to dry before it began to peel off, and new skin began to form just as quickly as it peeled off. His muscles began to move, reshaping themselves into the ideal structure.

The sound of system notifications began to ding in his ears, but he ignored them and continued to repeat the manual until he finally felt his blood calming down and the mist around him settling before dispersing into the surroundings. New vegetation grew magically wherever it went, as if the world was celebrating Masato's birth.

"Fuuu~."

Masato took a deep breath and exhaled mist before opening his eyes. Surprisingly, his eyes had turned completely black, as if they were the abyss.

Masato couldn't help but be amazed by what he saw in front of him. Everything was crystal clear. Even the smallest atom, the structure of a compound, its bonding with other elements; everything could be processed within his vision. He quickly closed his eyes because the amount of information he was receiving from his surroundings was too much for his brain to process.

Taking a deep breath, he opened them again, but this time his usual rainbow color was back, but his face scrunched up and he closed them again.

"...can't process the data... shit... "

Even though his eyes had returned to normal, he realized that the information would still rush into his brain, and his brain would try to process it all, resulting in a massive headache, forcing him to close his eyes.

He couldn't help but grin. He knew what he had to do next. He'd been wondering if there was a way to boost his mental capacity to 100 percent so he could look into the Akashic Record, and now he knew exactly how.

Like how a weight lifter trains his muscles by lifting the weight over and over, his muscles breaking and building themselves again. He'd tried it before with his Clairvoyance, but the amount of information he'd received was simply too much for him to handle, forcing him to stay in bed for a week or two with a constant headache.

But that was no longer the case because he would only receive information from his immediate surroundings, which was far less than receiving information for the entire world at once.

'If only I could have used filters or something similar with Clairvoyance, things would have been so much easier.'

He called the system notifications within his mind, shaking his head, because he couldn't open his eyes right now.

}

'Primordial Eye of Human God? That's what it's called, huh? Noice.'

Masato said, after checking all the notifications, "System, fuse the Great Essence of True Dragon with my body."

He'd been saving it until he could evolve his human bloodline, and now he'd done it. There was no other reason than he didn't want to think about anything else when his hands were already full of other things.

Ba-thum*

A loud heartbeat resounded all around him, startling him. Another loud heartbeat; he wondered if it was because of the merging with the Great Essence of True Dragon. However, this one was much louder than the previous one. Masato was certain that this one had traveled for tens of miles.

Ba-thum*

This time, it traveled hundreds of miles.

Ba-thump

Masato could feel his body changing again as more and more heartbeats resounded. Something else was entering his body, a completely different sensation. He had completely forgotten that he was not the only person in the world at the time.

---

A young man was swinging his spear somewhere in Korea, with an angel watching over him. He lacked any distinguishing features and was as unremarkable as one could be. But the dedication in his eyes was enough to startle anyone.

His hand continued to move, and the spear was thrust repeatedly without pause or change in direction. The young man has long forgotten how long he has been swinging and thrusting the spear. The only thing that remained in his mind was the sound of air being cut apart and his spear piercing some intangible foe.

"It's been more than a decade..."

While watching the young man, the angel muttered to herself. In reality, after a decade, the earth should have returned to normal, but it didn't. It makes her wonder if the time-axis has shifted slightly from its original position.

So, in response to the young man, she stated that everything would return to normal in five years. In fact, even she anticipated it. To ensure the young man's sanity, she advised him to practice various martial arts, specifically Vale Tudo and Spearmaship.

She wanted him to be prepared to face any difficulties that arose once the earth returned to normal. It's not like the young man didn't understand because he had the same mindset as she did.

That is why he gave everything he did his all. "I can't use mana, so I should at least train my physical condition to the peak of humanity, so I can survive once the world returns to normal," the young man reasoned.

Something resembling a heartbeat resounded within his ear as he continued to swing the spear. His thrusting action came to a halt in the middle, perplexing the angel, who had his full attention on him.

"Did you hear it?"

The angel tilted her head, perplexed, and asked, "Hear what?"

Ba-thump*

"That!"

As she tried to focus from where the sound was coming from, the angel's face changed completely from her previous expression of laziness. But her frown deepened as she realized there was no concrete position for it. It came from all directions.

The young man and the angel felt as if their bodies were on fire with each thump of the heart. Not literally, but their blood was running wild within their veins. When you are in the presence of an apex predator, this is a natural occurrence. A True Dragon truly stood above all races.

Add to that Masato's High Human bloodline, which amplified the effect even more.

"How is this even possible?"

"What happened?!"

The young man looked nervously at the angel, waiting for her response.

"This… I'm not sure... This isn't supposed to be possible..."

"... could you please explain? Why does it sound like the final boss is born?"

The angel paused for a moment, carefully choosing her words, and then said: "This occurrence... It occurs during the birth of a dragon. But that shouldn't be possible because there isn't any mana on the planet. It hasn't even made contact with Akashic yet! Unless..."

"Will you stop with your suspense talk?"

"Unless someone has entered this world from another. It's possible that someone, possibly a dragon, jumped his world and entered the earth, similar to how people from Earth have been sent to other worlds."

But it didn't make sense, she reasoned. Earth was a normal mortal world that had not yet experienced its first catalyst. A dragon's birth should be impossible if there is no contact with mana. First and foremost, dragons were pure mana beings. How could they be born in a world devoid of mana? Much more in a world where there is no catalyst?

Dragons are born 2-3th class, you know! A monster that should be born only in a world that has at least gone through the third catalyst.

So, despite what she said, she was aware that something was wrong. And this beating… No normal dragon should be born with such a powerful dragon beat!

"... ugh... is this a problem?"

To be honest, he was more concerned with whether or not this would be a problem for him. It's been a decade, and the angel says he only needs to stay like this for another five years. He doesn't want to become dragon food all of a sudden.

"... for the time being, I'm not sure. I'll contact Heaven first and then await their response. They'd probably send someone to look into it."

She is unable to check it herself. What if the dragon attacks? Leaving her alone who can't use her powers in a lower world, Illhan, the young man, would surely die. As a result, she reasoned that it would be best to notify Heaven first.

If this dragon is a higher being, he should not be able to use his powers in the lower world as well.

'However, this phenomenon only occurs when a dragon is born...'

So there's a good chance he/she isn't. He/she is more likely to be a 2-3rd class dragon.

'But even that would be a major issue for the people of Earth...'

It was preferable to notify Heaven as soon as possible and await their decision. If this dragon is an otherworldly entity, as he should be, they can dispatch a lower existence to deal with it. Such things are not out of the question for them. They just don't do it most of the time.

"Don't worry about it, Illhan, and keep up your training. Heaven will personally handle this matter."

Illhan could only nod before returning to his training, but his thoughts remained on the previous heartbeat. He just felt like it wasn't that dangerous, but he still wouldn't go there. As a human, he would never approach a dragon, even if it was a newborn. It was better to be cautious than to never be. He just wants to meet humans again, after all.
