Chapter 3 A cliche Story

"Mom"

Upon hearing the unfamiliar voice of a woman coming from the fish, my mouth involuntarily uttered the word 'mom'. Not only that I was overwhelmed with my or rather Jadels rising emotions of anger, sadness.

"Why are you showing up now?" I don't know why but that's the only thing I can think of and ask her about now.

"Jade… you know that I can't go against your father's word, it's the best for you too" she said, as her tone turned sorrowful.

Upon mentioning the word Father my body trembled,as a new emotion took over my body… fear 'what the fuck. it's my first time feeling this much fear, what the fuck did his father do to his child.' at the time memories of Jadel surfaced.

Composing myself and controlling Jadel's emotions i asked " state your purpose mother." her voice continued

"I know you are angry but, you are my son and I have obligations to look after you. I don't have much time so I'll be quick. Inside the box there is an artifact. Although it's an E rank artifact, it's the best artifact for your eye I can find under your father's watchful gaze. Be safe and don't cause trouble for your brother and sister."

The transmission cut off leaving me puzzled. I didn't want to involve with the Wayner family. Because they kicked Jadel out of the family and stripped his Wayner name, I thought they would never get involved with me. ' His mother still loves him, I can feel worry in her voice. Strangely, my heart felt warm.'

"Jadel's emotions are overtaking me. Since I only took over yesterday, I can't say that I have complete control of my body just yet. It will take some time"

Thinking of what kind of ability the artifact possessed I approached the box. Grabbing it, I opened the box revealing a blue prosthetic eye. " A prosthetic eye artifact, that's good I can change it when I get a high ranked one. Since my mot–Jadel's mother brought this, it might be good.

Removing my eye patch, I picked up the artifact and went to the mirror. Looking at the empty eye solt I shuddered a little.

Taking deep a breath I slowly put the prosthetic eye. " Done…but why can't I see anything with it" thinking a bit I got the answer.

"Ah, I need to put mana in it." slowly I poured mana in the artifact. After some seconds passed an unbearable pain came in the right eye slot, caughting me off guard. I screamed.

"Arghhaa" screaming I tried to take out the prosthetic eye, but that's only worsened the pain. After some time passed, the pain slowly faded away.

Laying on the ground panting "Huff-huff…Fuck that hurts" touching my right eye i mumbled " It's a fucking soul bound, SHIT, FUC–...sigh, well beggars can't be choosers. haa, shit now I feel sorry for my mo– her"

Slowly getting up I sat on the ground cross legged.

Sitting on the couch my mind wandered to the pieces of Jadel's memories. Since I'm human I can't fully check his memories.

In the novel 'Hunter's Of Supreme Royals' Jadel Wayner was the protagonist's Wingman. 'Yep a Wingman.' It all started when he met her at a banquet.

Every year there is a meeting for the big six families, they gather there to resolve any conflict between them or share information to keep the Zeaya continent safe.

Due to the presence of King Zeaya at the meetings, any potential conflicts among the individuals present are unlikely to occur. Since they can't harm King Zeaya because of his innate skill 'protecter' that protects borders from monster invasion.

It's an innate skill whose potential is unknown.

Back to topic. When Jadel Wayner was 8 years old, it was the first time he met Alicia Asclepius from Asclepius, a family of Healers. He liked her at first sight. Her light blonde hair tied in pigtail. Her light brown eyes reflected her innocence. Wearing a pink princess dress she looked adorable.

Finding an opportunity Jadel approached her and initiated conversation.

"Ex–excuse me, wh–what is your name? ''he stammered.

Alicia Asclepius turned to see an unknown boy. It was her first time conversing with a boy of her age as she stammered too . "A–Alicia Asclepius, what's your name?" she said shyly and looked straight in Jadel's eyes, with her innocent eyes.

Jadel felt his heart pierced by an arrow and touched his heart 'cu–cute, she's so cute' Jadel turned and took a deep breath, released it quietly

turning around he said "My name is Jadel, Jadel Wayner" he said Wayner proudly. The girl nodded at him and smiled.

"Are you new here? I don't remember seeing you," he asked her, feeling excited

She nodded at him "It's my first time here" He wanted to talk more but was interrupted by a beautiful woman.

"Ho, Alicia here you are" she looked at Jadel "Ho, you made a friend" the woman asked Alicia.

Alicia nodded and introduced Jadel.

"He is Jadel Wayner." looking at Jadel she introduced the woman " Jadel. This is my mom" Jadel nodded at her and smiled but his thoughts raced 'friend, she called me friend. hehehe. We are friends now'

"I'm sorry young man, it's time for us to go." His honeymoon trip was interpreted by the woman. Jadel jolted out of his thoughts by her sudden words. Although feeling sad he bid her goodbye "Bye see you next time" Alicia also bid farewell and left.

This continued for 6 years. As it continued, his love turned into obsession.

One year before the academy started, Jadel was kicked out of the house for unknown reasons. 'One thing I'm sure of is that Jadel is Afraid of his father.

Jadel's father Drake Wayner is a perfectionist. He despised weak and approved of Strong. That's one of the reasons for his father hating him.

Drake trained his kids like there is no tomorrow and punished mistakes harshly, because he is weakest one in all the siblings Drake targeted him, the punishment traumatised him that much a mere mention of his father, he will tremble. Drake has three wives and six children including Jadel. All of his brothers and sisters' potential is higher than him.

His biological sister is at the highest level, same as his father SSS- Rank.

As she is following in her father's footsteps she also dislikes weak people. This led to she hating him and bullying him. All of this leads to Jadel's current behaviour making him kinda crazy. All his support was his mother.

When he entered the Supreme Royal academy. He saw Alicia being friendly with the protagonist. As he saw that, he felt jealous but didn't do anything, but that changed when people started to spread rumours about they might be dating or liking each other.

This hit his jealousy max number, he did everything in his arsenal to separate them but that only strengthened it, he challenged the protagonist only to be face slapped.

Since Jadel was from a renowned family before they disowned him, it only helped Asher Blake to increase his reputation.

As he couldn't do anything to the protagonist, he forced himself on Alicia. Although Alicia was a combat type far stronger than him, she didn't hurt him because of how naive and innocent she is. she considered him as a friend. That's when he infuriated every main character. Making mc snap and brutally beat him up. That's when she started to respect and admire him, and as days passed it slowly turned into affection.

"He shouldn't have done that. But what I didn't get is why they kicked him out of the house, I know he's a troublemaker but not to that extent of kicking him out, well he is, but If he did nasty things his mother wouldn't concerned about him"

I can't understand why they kicked him out and some of his memories are blurry. As this body doesn't have photographic memory to remember everything.

"They said him being crazy and had some problems in the head, as his personality will flip sometimes. That's what they said before kicking him out.

Well it's not my problem anymore. I just want to live a good life, that's all.

"Since I have A- rank potential, I can enter tower of unknown and obtain the elixir of life to heal my mana veins. But the qualification to enter is C rank, limit A rank, How do I increase my rank in two years."

It's a tower that helps people to grow strong via many ways. You can find skills, spells ,rare herbs, minerals etc. Most of them will be students who enter it because the academy's made sure that the younger generation become more powerful than the older ones.

"Tomorrow my academy life will begin. How do I endure all the deeds Jadel did? " I slowly closed my eyes thinking about tomorrow and fell asleep.
