chapter 2

After eating breakfast me and Jessica sat on her bed, "I guess let's get searching," Jessica said. we both started looking up how to enter someone else's dreams. After two hours of research and testing things out they couldn't find anything. "library it is I guess" I said putting my phone down and sighing, "yeah I guess let's get a snack then we will leave k?" Jessica said. "ok" I responded.

After eating and getting ready we left and walked to the library. when we got there we started searching around after about 2 hours we stopped. "I don't know where we can find what we are looking for we have been looking forever," Jessica said getting tired." yeah me neither" I sighed. We were just standing there thinking when out of nowhere an old lady walked towards us. "hello dears what is it you are looking for" she asked sweetly. "u-uh we are looking for a book to enter people's dreams for uh a school project" Jessica said trying to sound convincing. "oh are you now" the old lady said "follow me then I'll show you something but you mustn't tell anyone" she said starting to walk away. "should we follow her" I whispered to Jessica "yeah, what if she knows something there's no harm right?" she said so I sighed and agreed and we started to follow her. eventually, we made it to a bookshelf on the far side of the library then the old lady pressed something and the bookshelf opened. she told us to go inside so we did and when we turned around to thank her she wasn't there. "that was weird" Jessica said but quickly she shook it off and started looking around. "yeah it was" I responded and started to look around too.

Eventually, we found an old book that said the mysteries of sleep and more. we opened it and found the section on lucid dreaming. It said lucid dreaming is when you know your dreaming but the dream feels vivid and real and you may be able to control your dream. "so wait is that why I can control what I do, the book says I can control my dream does that mean I can control the entire dream?" I thought out loud. "maybe I mean we can try let's take the book and go home here put it in my bag" Jessica said opening her bag. We put the book in her bag then grabbed a book that looked interesting so that we don't look suspicious.

When we got to Jessica's we ran to her room and sat on her bed. "ask your mom if you can stay the night again so we can try things out" Jessica said excitedly bouncing on the mattress on the floor. "o-ok" I said grabbing my phone "how do you have so much energy" I asked. "eh I don't know I just do" Jessica answered, I called my mom and she said yes so we started looking through the book again. "oh wait there's a page about a sleep walking potion" Jessica said "oh what's that?" I asked Jessica. " you decide who's dream you want to enter then you both drink the potion" Jessica said "but there's a special flower we need and I don't know where to find it" jessica finished. "what's the flower called? maybe we can look it up" I told Jessica hopefully we can look it up but what if it's too far away..."its called a sleepy lilly when crushed and mixed with water it creates the dream walking potion" Jessica said. I looked it up on my phone and found out it's in a forest pretty close to here, we could probably ride our bikes and get there by maybe lunch time if we left tomorrow at around 8:00 or 9:00am. We started discussing it and planned to meet up tomorrow to find the flower.
