[The Unstoppable Will Of Time.]

"Finally!"

Chrono shouted with excitment, slowly moving it's paws and lifting her tail before slamming it down on the ground again, the feeling of being back in this chaotic world was amazing, Chrono's was amused and laughed outloud as she looked towards the being that came out of the abyss.

"And it's all thanks to you~ I managed to fuse thanks to our shared hostility of improper life forms like you and as a reward, i shall concede you death!"

At the same moment Chronos said that to the Abyss keeper, and immense killing intent flowed out of the void crack like a river, the nearby trees started to rot and the grass started to die, rocks started to vaporize and the very oxygen in the air started to deplete. Everything was dying except Chronos.

The Abyss Keeper slowly crept out of the void crack, revealing it's full body, it looked like a sphere with multiple eyes and two rings in it's upper and lower half, it's skin was made of an material that resembles somewhat wood in texture but it's color was black-purplish.

Suddeny, time started to slow down until everything stopped, but this time was diffrent than before, time had truly stopped.

"Welcome to my world~ A place where not even death can interfere~~"

Chrono started to float upwards until it was eye to eye to one of the multiple eyes of the Abyss Keeper, then she clapped her two first paws and the Abyss keeper eyes started to move, it could feel it's body but not move it, he was paralyzed in the air close to the crack that he had formed.

And in the next second..

All the bones in the Abyss keeper body started to expand out of it's skin, piercing and destroying it from the inside out but somehow, it couldn't die, the abyss keeper was now a spike ball.

"Everything is connected to time, continuity and destiny. I reign supreme over all of them, i reign supreme over everything."

The Abyss Keeper skin started to deform and melt as multiple tumors appeard all over it, it was decaying at an incredible fast speed.

"Every lower life form is worthless in my eyes, they are nothing but a source of power for Foundations."

Once it all melted, the Abyss keeper rings and it's strange organs fell down to the ground.. But it was still alive.

If it could cry, it would cry. He felt everything, even now that his organs fell down to the ground he still could feel them, he could feel his skin decomposing, he could feel his very existence ceasing.

"It's funny how they think that they can change their destiny, their continuity but the only way to do that is to understand the soul but some of them dont even believe souls exist! How pitiful."

It's bone started to melt and wither away aswell and when nothing was left, it suddenly came back full form as if it had not been damaged at all.

"You see, i'm so happy that i decide that i will keep killing you~ Over and over again until i get bored~"

The Abyss Keeper skin started to melt once again, but this time more slowly, more painfully. It's shreeks of pain echoed through the silence world that has been time stopped.

Chrono's had a smile filled with satisfaction, she felt incredible refreshed, as if all the burden she once had was liberated.

'Maybe i should keep doing this for a few thousand years.'

But, sadly for Chrono, that feeling of freedom didn't last long as she suddenly felt herself dividing again, pushing her back to the depths of her own soul.

"No- no!"

Emilia pushed her back. There was no way she would let a psycho get control over her body. Once she finally could fully control her body once again, the world start spinning, everything was going back to normal but as the world went back to normal, the Abyss Keeper slowly started to become more translucent, it tried once more to regain it's freedom but reality rejected his existence and was purging him, just a few seconds were needed to make him completely cease, his existence shall never be remembered.

"W-why did you separate from me?!"

Emilia heard a voice coming from the depths of her mind, when she heard that voice she snorted.

"How would i let a psycho be on control? Plus you were suposed to be only a fictional character!"

"FICTIONAL?! I am more real than the word real! Didn't you feel the power we had when we were one? We could leave this cosmos, hell, we could even leave this great cosmos at will-"

"Yes, i felt what we could have done and that is exactly why you are not going to have any control anymore."

"Ugh! Why? Don't you wan't to be powerful? The strongest? Don't tell me you don't have any ambition, i am you and i know you want power!"

"Yes, but i don't need someone who will hurt everything around me."

"Are you like this because of the lower beings? They are just resources for the Asura Foundation! Is this because of that measly kobold that only has what, less than a quarter of dragon blood? Is that why you are imprisioning me, only because of stupid lower beings who can't even see beyond this cosmos?!"

"This way of thinking is exactly why we are not becoming one ever again."

Emilia turned around to look at the village wich was still burning in deep blue flames and started to recall in wich direction both Dawn and Raenir went. Of course, Chronos was still bickering inside her mind but she completely ignored her.

Emilia sniffed the air to try to track down the smell of either Dawn or Raenir and instantly she noticed the smell of wet dog, she guessed it was from Raenir, Emilia followed that trace of smell towards a forest and found Dawn looking down with an worried expression.

"Hey."

"Chronos?! You're okay?"

"Aw, you missed me?"

Emilia felt happy but Dawn was more worried about the thing that was tearing space and opening a gate to their world.

"What about that demon?"

Dawn asked anxiously, if it was still around she would need to go there and try to stop it.

"Demon..? Oh that thing! I dealt with it."

Emilia replied with a smile and started to look around the surroundings to find Raenir.

"A-already?"

"Yeah, it was pretty weak."

Dawn was left stunned while Emilia walked around searching for Raenir until he found the poor werewolf furry sitting down near a tree

Emilia looked at him and was about to speak but decided to hold it for now, perhaps he needed time to digest the fact that everyone he knew was dead and he couldn't arrive in time to save them. So Emilia sat down on the grass near Raenir, he had a blank expression, his face eyes were red because of how much he cried on his way here, his wolf ears were down aswell. Dawn slowly approached towards Emilia, she also seemed a little devasted but she seems to be used to it.

"I'll go get te Concentrated Nucleos, it will sell good to the dragonfolk alchemists."

As Dawn went back to grab the Concentrated Nucleos, Emilia looked at Raenir once more before speaking.

"Do you want to come with us?"

Emilia thought that it would be nice to have someone else to talk to and that Raenir would be a little less depressed if he could make some new friends.

"No. I have somewhere to go."

Emilia tilted her head in confusion, where he was going to go? Yes, there were some werewolf people that weren't infected that were evacuated to somewhere, but by the looks of it, it doesn't seem the place that he wants to go.

Raenir noticing Emilia confusion decided to clarify a bit more were he was going.

"Snow mountain of the north, there are some orcs there. I will seek training with them."

Orcs in this world aren't very hostile, most of the species are Aura Practicioners and good people.

"Ah."

Emilia sighed, seems like there will be no new party member. She looked up and saw a dazling night sky, each star was extremely bright and beautiful, she could keep staring for hours.

And so 20 minutes passed like a flash, Raenir seemed a little better but still was emotionally devasted and depressed. Dawn was coming back from the distance with the Concentrated Nucleos, she was tired. Today she over did it, her body ached and she felt her Aura Vessel shaking, She would need atmost 5 days to recover fully.

It was already night by now, Emilia heard no sound coming from the forest so she layed down on the grass and curled up in a comfortable position before sleeping, too much happened in a single day and they deserved a rest.
