The young man lazily gazed at the pathetic woman crying on the floor before lifting his hand and saying

"Take away this woman and execute her in front of the humans, show them what it means to defy us," said the young man lazily signaling the guards to capture the woman

"W-wait I have something to offer you, a b-boy that you would want to see he would be of great use to you" Yelled the woman causing the young man to raise his hand again stopping the horned guards

"Oh, show him to me," said the young man with a small smile appearing on his face

"O-okay bring me the boy standing outside" Yelled the young woman

The guards looked up to the young man awaiting orders

"Bring him to me," said the young man

"Of course, lord," Said the horned guards in unison before bringing in a child who looked no older than 10 with black hair and matching eyes

"Here he is lord" Announced the guards before dropping the boy on the floor

The young man showed a look of surprise for a brief moment before becoming expressionless

"Tell me who are you," asked the young man

"S-Seraph Arcadia," Said the boy

"Hmm Arcadia, as in the royal family of the Arcadian Empire?" asked the young man

"Yes," said the boy

"Hmm if that's true, why are you here?" Asked the young man with a small smile

"My mother abandoned me," Said the boy with a somewhat angered look

"Abandoned you... for what reason?"

"B-because of my father"

"Your father, for what reason"

"Because he's not human and my mother was supposed to be engaged to the hero," Said the boy

"Hmm if she's engaged to the hero, then your mother is Yvonne Arcadia and if your father is not human then what is he," asked the young man with greed flashing in his eyes

"My father is a dragon," Said the boy causing the young man to smile

"A dragon of royal lineage, huh it seems you were telling the truth," Said the young man looking at the middle-aged woman with an amused smile

"T-thank you my lord... does this mean I can go," Said the woman with a hopeful smile

"Not yet," said the young man before looking at the young boy

"I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Avaricious the Demon lord of Greed nice to meet you, Seraph," Said the young man with a smile briefly shocking the boy before continuing

"Tell me would you want to join me, I could give you everything you ever wanted and even more so will you join me," said Avaricious shocking the boy

"I will," said the boy almost instantly shocking Avaricious for a brief moment before causing him to smile

"So what do you want first, Money, Fame, Women or young girls in your case," Asked Avaricious with a smile

"I want... Revenge" Said Seraph with a flash of killing intent in his eyes before gazing at the middle-aged woman

Author's note:

As you can see I'm planning on showing bits and pieces of Adrian's (He will be referred to as Seraph while in his backstory) past to show how he became how he currently is

But don't worry most of the story will be focused on the present, not the past with few parts of his past showing up until you figure it all out

Also what anime should he visit after Rosario To Vampire I'm open to suggestions and as you could tell I'm already planning on Yona of the Dawn considering how few fanfics there are about it. though I could change it if you wanted me to?

Tell me if you enjoy his backstory. I'm planning on it being original for practice when I try to create a completely original novel
