Chapter 4 - What wedding?

I sat on the bed still thinking if I'm doing the right thing,

"That's right, I also have to lie to my family..."

I felt a huge sigh coming out of my mouth every time I thought of what will happen in the future.

[The next day]

Knock knock,

"..."

I was still asleep

Knock knock, this time the knock was much stronger,

I then got awake and I stood up scratching my head, and my eyes were still having a hard time waking up, I have a comfortable sleep because of the bed,

Yesterday too I was surprised when I saw a lot of my stuff back home,

I opened the door and I saw bill, he had a grumpy face but then sighed,

"I brought you a dress you should wear for today's lunch, my family will be coming now"

Bill said handing me the dress and leaving,

That guy looks like he didn't have a good sleep black circles were under his eyes, I then brushed it off and closed the door, I head towards the bathroom and I opened the box and I saw a pastel-colored blue dress, I took it off the box and it was not too short and it was just a simple formal dress attire,

I took the dress and wore it, the size was right, not too big not too fitted it was comfortable, it felt like bill know me well, and I saw the shoes still in the box and I saw a 3 inches stiletto heels, I tried wearing it, it was not too tall not too small, it was also the right fit,

"Seriously how did that guy know everything about me?" I said,

When I came out of the room I then headed towards bill's study, which I know where it is,

You can easily get lost in this place, because of how it's uselessly big for just one person, the place is big and quiet,

I then saw the study room and knocked on the door,

"Come in" I heard bill say,

I came inside and he was there doing paperwork, but as soon as I came in he took a look at me, he stood up took some box on his desk and came close to me,

"I forgot to give you this, but I did think it's appropriate that I wear it for you, " bill said taking out a beautiful necklace from the box, seems to be a really expensive thing now besides the ring I cannot accept this, it will make me look like I am taking advantage of him now,

I step away from him before he put his hands on me,

"Why?" He asked,

"I can't accept this, it's too much," I said,

"Don't be like that, you do know that in the condition I will provide you what you need and what you want, " he said,

"You do know I never ask for this," I said while I had my eyebrow raised,

"Right... I'm sorry, but you can just accept this as a gift" He said while he was feeling ashamed of himself,

"I still can't accept this..." I said,

"You can wear it for now then you can give it back to me, " he said hurtfully smiling,

"Okay..." I said,

Bill then put his arms around grace and connected the chain of the necklace,

What's this I feel like I hurt his feelings, grace thought,

He then put his arm, on his side inviting me to lock my arms in too,

"Shall we go now," He said,

I locked my arms in,

"Yes, " I said,

The act will now begin

When they were walking together they heard a chattering, grace was feeling nervous, however, bill do notice it,

"Hey, just be comfortable act like you love me," he said advising grace,

"But I do love you, " grace said teasing bill,

Bill flushed from embarrassment,

"Stop it," He said embarrassed,

"Haha, you are really fun to tease," I said smiling,

"And what seems to be funny?" Someone said, he looked so familiar when I looked at bill I just realize that it's his dad,

"Ah hello po," I said again with the po!,

"Wow what a respectable child, may I know your name, miss?" The men said smiling at me,

If this man is bill's father he should be at his 60+ age, but he's so healthy and looks so young,

"Hello, I am Grace Hernandez," I said bowing to greet him,

"What a beautiful child, he said" Surprisingly he seems kind like bill's grandmother yesterday,

We then continued to walk towards the living room, and the man was still talking to me in a kind manner,

"OMG, it looks like he doesn't care about his son here," Grace said in her thoughts, while bill was withering there like a dying flower,

"Come greet our guest, her name is grace, say hello to them, grace," The man said,

The whole family was intimidating, it feel like I was a prey to them,

"... hello my name is Grace Hernandez po," I gasped again holding my mouth, again using that term,

"Po?" Altogether they said,

"How cute",

all of them ran towards grace and bill was left alone, forced to let go of grace's hand. Standing alone withering there like people no longer see him,

"Why are you with bro?"

A girl with red hair and an orange eyes said,

"Ah, that's because..." I said hesitating,

"That's because she's my fiance" bill broke the crowd that was gathering around me he held my hand and was ready to fight for me,

"She's my fiance, and we want to talk about the plan for our wedding", he said proudly,

"What wedding?!!!" All of them shouted.
