Betraying Me Only Leads to Death

It was evening by the time I made it to Everwright Village and walked in an inn. I looked around for Saya and Miyuna then ran into Julia.

"Q-Queen Stella..!" Julia said.

"Ah Julia. It's fancy seeing you here." I smiled.

"I'm just making quick stops to different merchants to sell items I don't need for money to keep the business going." Julia smiled.

"Ahh, like I said I can help you. How much do you need?" I asked.

"T-That isn't necessary Your Majesty..!" Julia said, embarrassed.

I smiled and gave her the amount she needed and a few extra just for her and her family. Julia bowed and ran off happily. Saya snuck up behind me and went for a kick. I caught her leg and looked back.

"Oh come on! How did you block that?!" Saya whined.

"You never learn huh.." Miyuna asked. "Wait why are you here? Weren't you watching from the tower?"

"Yeah but it was getting boring there. Don't worry Adriesta and Kielazar are guarding the castle." I said then released Saya's leg.

"Well since you're here Your Highness, shall we all rent a room then go explore the new location?" Victoria asked.

"That sounds like a good idea." I nodded.

We all settled on getting a room. Saya and Miyuna got one room and Victoria and I got another room. After renting our rooms, we got the key to our room from the lady behind the desk. We then left the inn. I took a deep breath. The familiar scent of the village gave me huge nostalgia. I wondered around and looked at the different markets available. They sold fresh crops hand grown and other items.

'This all brings back many memories..' I thought to myself. 'My maids would love to cook with these fresh ingredients.'

"I want a shipment of these goods to my castle, asap." I told the storekeeper.

"Right away, the fastest we can do for you is a month." He said.

"Fine by me." I nodded.

The storekeeper phoned his employees and told them about my order. I kept walking around and had a flashback of Aaron and me, walking around the village together. I smiled and closed my eyes. This was nice...remembering all the good times in the past. Victoria followed me closely while Saya and Miyuna pointed at the many different markets and ran to each one, with large curiosity.

"Your Highness, it seems like some runners kept going ahead...is there a prize for finishing first?" Victoria asked.

"Oh I don't know. I don't make any of these events actually. These events were made by someone for my enjoyment. It was strange for a marathon to be so far from the castle though but it's good to get fresh air like--" I paused as I got a call from my phone then answered it.

"Do you like these events..?" A male voice said.

"Wrong number." I hung up. I got another call then I answered it. "PLEASE tell me how you got my number and what is so f*cking important that you had to call ME..?!"

"Do you..like these events..?" The male asked again.

"Yes! Are you happy?" I said.

"Good...I'm 50ft away from you. 47....43...." The male said.

I turned around and saw Haido then sighed of relief.

"Geez Haido you nearly gave me a heart attack." I laughed softly. "Why didn't you call me from--"

Haido pointed his masamune to my chest. I looked at him then the sword. Victoria got really defensive and got ready to summon her Lunar Arms. I signaled for her to not.

"Explain yourself.." I said.

"There's nothing to explain..you should know what this is about..." Haido said.

"Humor me. Tell me your reasoning for pointing a blade at me." I said and my golden eyes shined.

"I was never really on your side...I've always hated you Stella...I was just good at hiding it...I couldn't stand this new change in attitude you had..you think this new attitude can fix your sins, make me forget what you did to my people..they begged for their lives...you killed them anyway...for what? More power...more land...now you changed into a person who randomly cares about people? Weren't you the same queen who enslaved thousands of people? The same queen who would kill her own knights for failing one mission? The same queen who tried to kill Victoria herself." Haido said.

Victoria stayed quiet and looked at me. I knew nothing about this, this is my first time hearing about any of this. I looked at Haido and closed my eyes.

"Are you implying that I'm incapable of changing..? My people are happier than what they've ever been..is it bad for me to want to care about people now?" I opened my eyes.

"You're only doing it to make yourself look good. You don't truly care because once you don't need them anymore you'll just throw them away like garbage." Haido said.

"I won't and will not throw my people away like garbage. My kingdom is like chess, everyone serves a purpose no matter how small they are. I give my kingdom free will unlike the others.." I stepped forward. Haido stepped back. "What's the matter..? You point a blade at me...now you won't use it..?"

My dark aura emerged from my body as I gave an ominous smile. Haido's purple eyes glowed. I took another step forward and felt my seal breaking. Victoria noticed I was losing control of my power.

"Strike me down Haido..! Show me that hatred you have for me!" I said. "Or are you a coward? Are you just all noise?"

"I will actually strike you down!" Haido threatened.

"I actually liked you Haido..maybe liked you enough to have sex with you.." I said then grabbed the blade of his sword and glared. "Now...You mean nothing to me.."

Saya and Miyuna looked over and saw what was going on. Gloria also looked back. My dark aura surged wildly as I glared at Haido. I pulled Haido towards me then palmed his stomach. He groaned and coughed a bit of blood. I looked at him and pushed him back then dashed to him and my Unholy Gauntlets appeared around my wrists. I pinched his stomach and sent him crashing into a building. The gems on the gauntlet glowed brightly.

"Enjoy your final days in the realm of the living." I struck Haido on his chest and he crashed into a wall and stumbled forward. "Unholy Bushin: Omega Flux!"

I palmed Haido's chest and a gigantic gust of wind blew and Haido was blown away through multiple buildings. My hair tie broke and my hair was let down. Everyone, even Victoria, was shocked.

"T-This...is Miss Stella's power...?" Saya's legs shook.

Miyuna was about to cry as she was terrified. Victoria's eyes were wide. There was no way Haido survived an attack like that.

"This..is her when she's using...25% of her power..." Victoria stepped back.

"Betraying Lunia..is a Supreme Crime...and when you reach Supreme Crime, your only option is to face death by my hand..depending on how major the offense always leads to how much power I use to kill you...let this be known..betraying me...will only lead to your death.." I said and my dark aura slowly disappeared.

"Haido! Answer me! Haido!" A woman said from Haido's earpiece.

Zephyr looked at Vern who was trying to contact Haido. Vern hung up and looked at Zephyr and shook her head.

"He's dead.." Vern said. "I told him to not attack Stella directly..! That idiot..!"

"I see...he was the one who knew the most about her also...she overpowered him by a lot then and went the extra mile to kill him..you'd think she'd have enough of a heart to let him live.." Zephyr said.

"Stella is a tyrant...A woman who weilds 7 Lunar Arms, 3 Frontier Arms, and 4 Ancient Arms. You would need a weapon strong enough to counter all of that. Luckily we all can only equip only one arms at a time. Elulu is incapable of building arms strong enough to counter even Arthvia..she is useless to us." Hisui said.

"Yeah..I know..but she is the only inventor we have...We can not dispose of her yet...alright.. it's time for plan B...Vern..invade Lunia. Hisui, back her up as much as possible." Zephyr said.

"Good as done." Hisui said.

"Your word is my command." Vern said.
