I gasped.

Rowan Silvan...he is my little brother!

Before I could ponder more about it, I heard my Professor say, "Prince Rowan, please take a seat next to the black hair boy sitting next to the window." Rowan nodded politely and then made his way towards me, where the only empty seat in the classroom was. He sat down next to me and smiled.

"Hey, Kai, long time no see," Prince Rowan said.

I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion. Did I meet him before? How did he know my name? I had never even introduced myself.

Rowan smiled at me, sweeping his dark green hair to the side. He leaned forward and whispered in my ears, "I see that your sitting in the protagonist's seat."

I jerked back from him with a questioning expression. Protagonist seat? The only ones who should know that term is if they came from my world. The protagonist's seat was the seat in the far back, next to the window.

In many animes, otome games, and manga's, the protagonist would always sit next to the window.

Before I could interrogate him, the Professor began his class. After an hour, the bell finally rang which prompted his fangirls to come running towards him.

Seriously, how come it seems like everyone that I encounter or befriend have their fangirls and even their fan club! What about me?!!!

I packed my things to go to my next class, totally forgetting that I was supposed to ask him what he meant. As I made my way to the exit, Rowan suddenly shouted. "Hey, wait up Kai!" He gave a smile at his fangirls and quickly ran towards me.

"Let's talk over there," He said as he pointed towards a secluded place.

I agreed because I then remembered that I was going to question him anyway. When we got there, I immediately asked, "Who are you?"

He grinned at me and said, "I am Jake Casen your best friend from the earth!"

Rowan said that so casually that I couldn't help but gape at him.

"Jake? But why do you look different? When I was reincarnated, I maintained the same appearance from before, but well, you don't look the same at all."

Now it was Rowan's turn to look confused.

"What do you mean? The goddess asked whether or not I wanted to keep my old appearance and I chose not to. She was so nice! She even gave me a cheat!" Rowan exclaimed.

"Goddess? What goddess?"

"The goddess of reincarnation silly!" Rowan laughed.

"I never met the goddess, all I remember is dying in the fire and waking up here," I said seriously.

"You're not joking are you?" Rowan said as he suddenly understood.

"But how can this be?" I heard him mutter.

"How did you arrive in this world, Jake? Did you also die?"

He nodded his head. "Yes...I kinda got hit by a truck," Rowan said as he smiled sheepishly.
