The Handsome Devil

"So does he want you to go out with him." Charlotte asked wide eyed in excitement.

They had stopped by their favorite coffee shop to chit chat.

Ariel sighed, she dressed in simple clothes usually she had only outdone herself because of the fake blind date.

A grievous problem had arose in the process of their deceitful plan, the CEO had requested for a nightstand even if she wasn't the actual Charlotte.

She was stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea, she couldn't snitch on her bestie if not everything could worsen and he wasn't going to decline unless she agreed to his deal.

She'd never known a man all her life how could she possibly attempt a nightstand that would be crazy of her, and here was Charlotte acting like she had broken a thrilling news sometimes she wondered if her bestie had a care in the world.

"There's nothing to be so happy about I'm so worried I could barely fall asleep last night." Ariel said in a panicked tone, entwining her fingers placed on the table, a waitress approached them setting their brewed hot coffees on their table.

"Espresso, Cappuccino right." The waitress confirmed.

"Yes thank you." Charlotte replied staring back at her shaky best friend, she leaned forward to get closer across her seat.

"Relax baby girl nightstand you say? It's easy we can just drug him and you'll ditch him later I've got it all planned out you didn't think I was an irresponsible naughty ass bitch that'll put her innocent best friend in a difficult situation and just abandon her." Charlotte assured her smiling softly, she knew Ariel was still a pure virgin after defending and protecting her from their high school days till college she would never be able to hurt her bestie intentionally.

She loved her father but other times he was such a pain in the neck, her mother had left them ten years ago for her new boyfriend.

The betrayal she had harbored in her heart for her mother's indulgence dissolved fervently leading her into dissipation.

"How can you think of doing something so preposterous? I know you're bubbling with one of your incessant fun ideas but count me out I'm already in such a huge mess Charlotte I'm freaking out." Ariel expressed herself, her heart raced at the thought of the CEO's alluring gaze when he suggested a 'nightstand', a tingling sensation jolted in her body. She wasn't about to blame Charlotte for everything as she had partook willingly in this act.

"You don't have to do anything just show up I'll disguise and handle the rest." She assured Ariel rubbing her palms together, she raised her cup of coffee to her mouth draining it noisily. She paused...

"Hey darling drink up don't fret you're scaring me with this pale look of yours gosh." Charlotte adjusted the coffee cup to her bestie urging her to sip from it.

"Do you think it'll be all fine?" Ariel asked concern written all over her face, receiving the coffee cup from her best friend, her hands shivered nervously as she held on to it she brought it up to her lips her elbow slipped spattering the whole coffee on her round necked shirt.

"Oh my goodness what have I done? So careless of me." She scolded herself looking around for a waitress, Charlotte eyed her instinctively.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" She queried puzzled by her best friend's weird reaction.

"I have an awesome idea." She grinned

Khloe paced across the average sized office worriedly, staring at the door frequently she finally settled on a cushion chair tapping her fingers on the desk.

Upon the sound of the opened door she jumped up in expectation

"Dad where were you I've been in years for ages." Khloe said impatiently

"We had this stuffy sessions as usual how are you my Princess?" He asked strolling into his office

"You know why I am here right daddy did Dale seriously refuse to change his mind after you spoke to him at the party." She queried ignoring her Dad's question.

Even if he had informed her on a call she still couldn't come to terms with it.

"Honey listen take a deep breathe and seat." He said motioning to her, he knew this daughter of his was stubborn and spoilt to the core she never took No for an answer but regarding this case she had to sadly.

She obeyed taking a seat even if she felt restless.

"Khloe my dear you're too sophisticated to keep pursuing a man that isn't interested in you even in the slightest way possible millions of business tycoons would do anything to gain your attention." He explained to her care written all over his countenance he hoped his baby girl gives up on that vain Dale and focus on her life.

"No daddy you don't understand I'm in love with him I've totally fallen for him and there's no other option than to get him back please help me out." She begged tears welling up in her eyes.

What has this Dale boy done to his daughter? He reasoned in disbelieve.

Dale stepped into in his large room, loosening his tie roughly he strolled to his closet taking out a clean towel.

He had never felt this exhausted after a day's work in his life maybe it was because he couldn't get his new found lamb image off his mind.

Charlotte Jack seemed like an interesting little lady he desired to explore, the innocence in her eyes made him more curious about why she had camouflaged by acting like a real bad bitch.

He had shared his phone number with her, she claimed to need more time to think his deal over which made him suspect she wasn't as daring as he envisaged.

He contemplated over taking a shower first or giving a call to his little lady,

His? Had he just used a possessive term, he guessed she was beginning to make him lose his mind.

Deciding to go for the latter, he walked to his bedside remembering that he had placed it on the table in his library room.

He headed there, dialing her digits he pressed the call button a mischievous smile played across his lips as the phone buzzed at the other end.

"Hello who's this?" Her high pitched feminine voice asked.

"It's the handsome devil." He replied calmly
